Traveler's Rest was such a peaceful, beautiful place for us to stay as we explored the historical sites of Virginia. Agnes was so pleasant and friendly, as were her doggies. We'd definitely love to come back and visit again!

The house is amazing! The ranch is amazing! Sun-drenched and utterly peaceful place away from the noisy hotels, roads and crowds yet so close to civilization. Just imagine waking up to the chirping of the birds and looking out your bedroom window to the sunrise reflected in the pond and the thousands of shimmering leaves of an old willow tree. It's so picturesque it's hard to believe!!! The house is three hundred years old and full of wonders. The pictures simply do not do justice to it. It's decorated with outmost skill and taste by it's owner - Agnes. Agnes is a wonderful human being! She's so warm and welcoming, you become immediately taken up by her charming personality. I can not praise this woman enough. We were just lucky to meet her! Agnes was very helpful to us in every respect and even extended an invitation to the local crafts exhibition where she presented her beautiful wreaths! We enjoyed every minute of our stay at the farm and highly recommend it to all BnB'ers! Virginia IS for lovers!
