Our cozy cabin is clean and picturesque. Nestled in the redwood forest, it feels like a treehouse. The top floor is a studio; the bottom floor is a bedroom. Private and serene, but close to town!
We have a six seater outdoor round hot tub at the base of our stairs. There is a chiminea and seating area and well, and you are welcome to make a fire in it.
This space is private and cozy, beneath redwoods. You will walk down several wooden steps to the front door. When you enter the home, you will find yourself in a modern, clean living space with couch, futon, television, and a dining area in the right hand corner. The windows overlook the forest, and you may see squirrels running along the low roof. The kitchen and bathroom are adjacent to the living area. When you walk down the stairs, you will find the bedroom, aglow in the natural light of the lush green forest.
Outside there is a heating area and a round hot tub, fits six
Guests will have access to the entire cabin, and backyard with hot tub and chiminaea.
Interaction with guests
Lance and I live across the property from the cabin. Feel free to text and we can come over and help with what is needed. In the summer, Lance offers brewery and nature tours. He is also willing to do Sunday breakfasts if you ask him.
Other things to note
Wildlife may be witnessed: deer, raccoons, and an occasional bear. None of the animals who occasionally wander into the vicinity are aggressive, but please do not feed them. Also, we have two cats.
Please be respectful of the property and keep the noise down after 11 a.m. We take pets on a case by case visit. If you use the chiminea, please put the fire out with water at the end of the night. If you use the hot tub, please put the lid on. If you smoke, please smoke outside. Enjoy.
