We enjoyed our stay at Tropica Shipwreck, but I'll admit there were quite a few flaws for the price. For starters, the positive, I loved how close it was to the beach and also to a great smoothie cafe. The staff were really kind and the place had an immediate feel of tranquility and peace. Upon our first nights stay though, I had such an unrestful sleep. There was no mosquito net for the twin sized bed, and given that the doors to the suite don't close all the way (there are small gaps) we were absolutely bombarded with mosquitoes. As others mentioned, the roosters next door don't help for a restful sleep as they start around 5am. Aside from this though, we really did enjoy our stay and the atmosphere of the place. I will also mention that our room wasn't made up the duration of our stay; this didn't really bother me, but one might expect it for the price. I think if as a guest you are okay with exchanging a few comforts for a gorgeous backdrop, this is a good option, but if you prefer basic amenities and a no fuss room, this wouldn't be a good pick.

The host was very responsive on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) and was very helpful in making arrangements for us from the airport, to the jetty and all the way to the accommodation itself. We occupied 2 rooms (Playground & Lacerations) Although I did not get to meet the host in person, he still facilitated our check-in process through the lady in charge. We arrived but there was no one in sight but the lady in charge quickly came in about 10 minutes to facilitate everything. In half an hour from when we arrived, she talked to us about things we could do at the island (snorkeling, renting a scooter) but the price was a bit on the high side. It was a good thing we could speak the native language there and managed to negotiate to a much lower price (I recommend everyone to negotiate the suggested or asking price to get a better deal!). The rooms were satisfactory and clean. Mosquitoes were a problem so I suggest putting some mosquito coil in your room when you are out. There are the nagging roosters that crow very early in the morning. So, if you're a light sleeper, that could be a problem. The biggest issue for us was the air-cond. Didn't seem to be cold enough no matter how powerful we set it to and the room is not very well-lit. Of course, these problems would seem trivial if you're spending most of your time outside exploring (which we did) so it didn't bother us too much. Other than that, the room was well equipped with sockets, toiletries and good-enough wifi. Breakfast is cooked by the staff and the menu is very limited. I ate the same thing the 2 mornings I spent there. The swimming pool is not a bad place to chill albeit it being very small. Overall, I would still recommend this place to whoever looking to visit Nusa Lembongan as it is very accessible and satisfactory.
