At the center of Renaissance Florence bright, quiet and spacious (100mq) apartment tastefully renovated in November 2015.

The space
The spacious apartment of 100 mq is a 10-minute walk from the Duomo, the Accademia Gallery, the Ponte Vecchio, the Santa Maria Novella Train Station, the Central Market and a short walk from the bus stop, the bike hire, and garage for those arriving by car. Surrounded by the charm of Renaissance Street and the wheels of the side streets that lead directly into the city center, the apartment has been renovated respecting its original atmosphere, preferring wood and natural materials. The building dates back to 1400, beginning of the Florentine Renaissance. Until 1800 it was a convent, of which testimony remains a converted church in the back garden which overlooks the apartment. The doors are from 1800 and the floor, in ancient Florentine tile, blends harmoniously with the modern. Objects and furnishings were made by hand, carefully selected and of the highest quality, creating balance and lightness. The apartment, on the third floor, with independent heating, consists of a single room, a double room with bathroom and a triple room, a bathroom with shower and complete with all accessories, including hairdryer. The kitchen is equipped with electric oven, microwave, toaster, washing machine, stove, refrigerator, new dishes, coffee maker, iron and ironing board.
Black tea, green tea, coffee, honey, sugar, various tisane, jams, rusks, juices fruit and water are available if you want to cook your breakfast.
You will also find extra virgin olive oil, vinegar, pepper, salt, various spices, garlic, onion, spaghetti, and tomato sauce if you want to prepare a nice plate of spaghetti!
You will feel immediately at home in a comfortable apartment.
Close to the apartment, there are several restaurants and a grocery store ( open until 10:00 pm), in case you need something.
There is no elevator in the building but the stairs uphill are soft( as the apartment was built in 1470)

The floors are tiled with Florentine tiles in the living area, while the rooms are in wooden slats. In the kitchen, there are dedicated containers for separate collection. There is free wifi, interactive TV with the internet; books and guides are available in various languages. The reception is in English and in Italian. Please be on time in the check-in and check-out. You can contact me for any further information at any time. I would like you to feel at home, enjoying the atmosphere and ancient family. We welcome you and will do everything possible not to disturb you depart with a smile and a nice souvenir of your stay in Florence. They are available to offer any suggestions and advice. Each person has available a glass container to store food in the fridge.
Those who arrive by car, can 'take advantage of the garage S. Zanobi,10 minutes by walk from the apartment and for what I have a convention, if you go in my name, you will get a very good price: for your car, you will pay from 20 to 25 € per day ( in low and high season)

My work: freelancer
I have a degree in architecture in 1987 from the University of Florence, then in 2000 specializing in bio architecture. I am passionate about photography (some of my photographs are on display in the apartment), cinema, art, architecture, music, dance, country walks and discover new places. I have an olive grove in the country at 600 meters in purpose and produce extra virgin olive oil of excellent quality. I am a creative person, almost everything in the apartment was invented by me, choosing high-quality and non-toxic materials such as wood and the walls painted with hardening (to make breathing walls, linen pure cotton, with an ultimate purpose: create harmony in the spaces and environments, and the pleasure of living inside.Like the architect i think over the appearance and the luxury, in a home, what matters ' is the spirit of the house (the apartment was built in 1470) and the kindness of the materials that surround us and make us feel calm and comfortable. I always like to meet the other cordially and with friendship first and foremost, but this judge you!
