Great Value for money. In unit kitchen was great. Cabin dated, but for the price that is to be expected.

A small cabin beside a big yard, this place is a great place to stop over. The views of the Valhallas are lovely and New Denver is a great town for a long evening walk. Trevor's place is a good price and he's quick to respond to requests.

We had some difficulty checking in but the room was good and well equipped and Trevor was a friendly and helpful host. New Denver is a small enough town that everything is within a short walk, including Trevor's motel accommodation.

Trevor's cabin is a quiet, cosy place, perfect for exploring the town. Trevor was quick to respond to our last minute booking, had the place clean and even refunded me some money. (I mistakenly paid in USD). My only complaint would be that the wifi signal didn't get as far as our cabin. I would stay here again. This place would be fun to block-book with a lot of family or friends for a summer meet-up. The huge yard with barbeque and proximity to the beautiful lake (2 blocks) would make it a great party space.

Trevor was great. He was very helpful and took care of all our needs. The cabins had everything we needed and the location was perfect for us. New Denver is a charming and beautiful small town with a lake and lots of trails for biking and hiking.

Outdoor activities and family is why I am here. In the winter I work in the backcountry ski industry at a Ymir backcountry ski lodge. In the summer I do boat tours on the slocan lake, I swim at the beach with my kids, paraglide from Idaho Peak, lots of mountain biking and hiking and a fair bit of exploring and travelling in the shoulder seasons. If you want advice on things to do in the area I also write a blog - guidebook on the area, search under kootenay experience.
