We wished we had planned to stay longer the minute we entered the suite. We found the airy, sunlit rooms very chic, and at the same time warm and cozy. The bookshelves are well-stocked, as is the linen and utility closet. We were able to prepare more food than expected with the use of the toaster oven and hotplate. (We were also delighted to grind and brew the yummy whole-bean coffee we found in the pantry!) Jennifer was an exceptionally considerate and good-natured host and even lent us a pan to boil fresh eggs laid by her hens. We gathered them with our toddler; that was our brightest highlight. We were delighted to visit the chickens and roosters and sheep, all of whom were gentle and hospitable. The garden is lovely, as woolly as the sheep and spotted with chairs: bring your sketchbook! In spite of the tucked away feel of the suite, it does lie on a main road. It didn't take us long to get to the grocery store, or downtown, or to scenic Poudre Canyon. In sum: We'd prefer that this was only our first (and shortest) stay!

This is a clean, cozy, handy little home. No frills, the yard is definitely not fancy, but the home is spotless and cute. The hostess is helpful and the amenities--fresh flowers!--charming.

Everything was very comfortable and the location was ideal to CSU. Loved being so close to the city park, too. The animals were a delight. Our hostess, Jennifer, welcomed us with a tour.

Jennifer was a gracious host. The house is right off Mulberry so it allowed easy access to Fort Collins as well as a straight shot to I-25.

It was quiet despite sharing property with a bunch of goats. I would definitely stay here again. Jennifer was very helpful.

Jennifer was a wonderfully welcoming and responsive host! The little garden and farm were delightful. Cozy living room, highly charming. Vintage bathroom was tiny (no electrical outlets, FYI) and the platform bed could be a little tall for vertically challenged guests (my 6' husband was fine, I'm 5' 6" and needed to climb a little!), but comfy and sweet. Perfect for our 2-night stay to visit our college son!

I am a middle-school teacher, a farmer, and a restaurant owner. I love being outdoors in all of Colorado's seasons - whether hiking, back-country skiing, or growing food. I also love cooking that food and curling up by the fire with a good book and a fuzzy dog. I strive to be a responsive, but unintrusive host. Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions or let me know what you need to make your stay an enjoyable one.
