Interaction with guests
I am available for any questions, but normally have things to do outside of my home to give you privacy. I'll welcome you, show you needed items and then you can just make yourself at home! You'll have a key to come and go as you please.
For a more lengthy stay there will be more interaction as I live in my home, but I am pretty quiet. Even then I will try to give you privacy, and likewise. I'm a bit of a night owl, so you may not see me in the early mornings. I also have a beautiful Maine Coon kitty, age 4 named Skittles and a new 8 week old orange kitty named Pumpkin. They do not go into the areas the guests are staying.
Other things to note
Just 4 miles to town, 10 min drive to campus, State College is a happening town, lots to do from museums to musicals, baseball to football, lots of shops, restaurants, bars and dance clubs. Local musicians during the week and weekends. Historical Bellefonte is 7 miles in the other direction, it is a beautiful town (my hometown) and has many antique shops, and lovely Victorian style homes. If reserving the bedroom for a football weekend and other Penn State events, the price is higher than normal and it is a minimum of a 2 night stay.
Keep all common areas clean, no smoking, no drugs and only responsible drinking of alcohol. Ah and I am a shoes off at the door kind of person, there's an area for shoes. I live on the corner of Quincy Ave and Constitution Ave. Parking is available right in front of my front door which faces Constitution Ave. A couple of other things to note: My cat, Skittles loves to hang out in the bath tub cause it's cool and she loves water, please keep the bathroom door shut at all times. And when coming and going, please make sure that the storm door is latched, or the wind will blow it open. Thank you!

Easy going, quiet, friendly, love helping others.
Love outdoor music fests, musicals, dinner and movies out. Fav food would be pizza and also a good steak.
I have hosted many people over the past 7 years either for Penn State events or long term such as renting out my spare room for college semesters or longer term to grad students and professionals.
I'm planning a trip to CA in Feb, I look forward to booking with Airbnb there.
My life motto: - You can always change your tomorrow, turn the page, move onto the next chapter, get back out there...life is too short to be unhappy. When moving to a new place, always remember, nothing is set in stone, you can always move again or move back to your home town. This is what I did after 25 years of traveling to various states.
