About this listing
Rolling Waters was the pioneer of B&B's in Knysna in 1989. Having had a sabbatical we have decided to re-open 3 of our rooms to guests.
The three en suite rooms have their own entrances and are totally private.
Room with a View is above the garage at the front of the property. It has twin bed and the ensuite bathroom has a bath with a shower over the bath tub. There is an air conditioner, fan, tea/coffee facilities and a bar fridge. Bottled water & tea and coffee are replenished daily. The room has double glazing as it is very close to the road.
Each room has its own entrance and is completely private. All the rooms have their own patio or balcony. We have on-site parking. There are steps up to the rooms from the garden/car park so it is not ideal for the elderly or disabled.
Interaction with guests
I started Rolling Waters in 1989 so have lots of experience with communicating with guests from all over the world. Having had a 12 year break as the family needed the space and we had other business commitments I am now very excited to re-open Rolling Waters. I'm always available to chat and advise guests where to go and what to do in this beautiful town and surrounds, but I also respect their privacy.
We are situated on the Main Road across from the Lagoon approximately 2 kms from Knysna town and the Knysna Quays. It is a lovely stroll along the promenade along the edge of the Lagoon to the Waterfront for wonderful shopping and great restaurants. We also have 2 really good restaurants less than a kilometer from the house.
There is no public transport, but taxi's are always available.
Other things to note
We have on site parking for 3 cars so please park so that the other cars may fit in the parking area.
Smoking is allowed outdoors only.
The rooms are only serviced on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays during your stay.
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund, including service fees.

Norman & I have lived and brought our children up at Rolling Waters and been living here for almost 3 decades! We love living in Knysna and keep very busy, if we're not working at our classic car business you'll find me on the golf course & Norman paddling on the lagoon.
