Newly renovated unit with exposed brick that has a true city feel with all the amenities you'll need for your visit to DC. Sleeps two comfortably and is located on a quiet street just blocks away from hip bars, restaurants, and minutes from downtown.

The space

This newly renovated studio comes with a small kitchenette, including stove, microwave convection oven and a small fridge so you can cook at home if you don't feel like going out. It has a private bathroom with a full bathtub/shower. You can access the studio through a private entrance in the back alley. It has a full iron security gate and bars on the windows so you can feel safe during your stay!

Guest access

This unit is connected to a full row house. The studio is all yours, but you will not have access to the rest of the home.

Interaction with guests

I'm available by phone if you have any questions at all. I'm happy to chat, tell you about the city, give directions, or hang out. Just let me know.

Other things to note

Grab a bite to eat, cocktail, or craft beer from neighborhood favorites Boundary Stone, Rustik Tavern, El Camino, Crisp, and Red Hen. Head into the local dive Showtime Lounge for some jukebox tunes, cheap beer, and perhaps a low key dance scene. Or, enjoy the best coffee in town at Big Bear Cafe. Consider trying out Yoga District as well!

For a truly unique experience, try Thai X-ing. It’s fantastic Thai food and a dining experience you won’t get anywhere else in the city. (Reservations recommended)

For an afternoon outside you must visit the Crispus Attucks Park, a neighborhood park that is hidden between row houses that only few know about.

Take a stroll through the weekly Farmer's Market that sets up on the corner of 1st and R streets NW on Sundays from May 16 - Nov 21.

Really nice studio with everything you need. Close to some nice bars, less than an hours walk to main attractions. We really enjoyed our stay - thanks very much!

Great old neighborhood, close to metro and bus lines. Some fun little neighborhood cafes and pubs.

I loved the space! It was clean, well decorated, and a perfect getaway during our vacation. Andre was organized and always responded to my messages quickly. If you're looking for a simple, straightforward process in terms of check-in and check-out, and a charming studio, this place is for you!

Andre is a great host! He let us check in early because we had an early flight into the city. As for the space, it was perfect for the both of us. It has all the basic amenities and was a cozy place to come home to after exploring the sights and visiting the museums all day. It does get a little chilly at night, but you can just message Andre and he will turn up the heat for you. He is very quick to respond and offered us great tips as it was our first time in Washington D.C. We loved our trip!

Andre's place was perfect! The check in process went smoothly and the place was warm and cozy and spacious for two. Everything was just as advertised and the parking spot was a definite plus. Short lyft rides to downtown and an easy walk to a lot of great places. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone!
