Marloth Park is a wonderful place to stay if you enjoy animals. While we were there we saw an ostrich, and giraffes, roaming the streets. We were also visited by warthog, zebra, Kudu, and impala daily, and a mongoose one day! The house has a great layout for a large group. Plenty of space. Furnishings and finishes a bit dated but all perfectly functional. We had an issue with a shower to start with but it was fixed quickly for us by Liezel. There was some dust and bugs in the house and cottage when we arrived, but it is in the bush so we understand not the kind of place you'd be able to have as pristine. Easy to cook in the kitchen and on the braii. Lack of lighting around the braii meant difficult to cook at night in winter, really only possible for lunch. It's a great location, great relaxed house, perfect for a large group who wants to chill with the animals. We really loved our time there!

We had a great stay at Bush and Gables Lodge. The place was just as advertised. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and each with an ensuite bathroom. It is hard to quantify how joyed our children were when we were approached by Zebras as while unloading the car on the first day. Marloth Park was wonderful as well, with grocery and restaurants a short 5 minute drive or 10 minute walk. On walks around the house we saw Giraffe, Zebra, Kudu, Ostrich, other deer, and countless birds. From the overlook, a short walk from the house, we saw herds of elephants, hippos, crockodile and many other grazing animals almost every day. Kruger was also a very short drive from the house. GREAT TRIP and I highly recommend staying at Bushy and Gables.

Amazing place!! This place is undersold in the description and pictures. I've never stayed at an Airbnb that was bigger than the pictures let off. This place was huge. To top of the amazing/ not guranteed to happen for others; we had a herd of Zebras great us at the back porch along with a wildebeest and a Kadu. The cottage was an extended adventure to our safari and made for great memories. I wish we could've stayed longer.
