Staying at Meg's was our first Airbnb and it was exceptional. Upon arrival, she made us aware of a meteor shower outside and offered us some chairs to watch it. Swarmed with sounds of frogs and crickets, we watched the meteors streak across the sky. Then we retreated to the room that she was offering for our stay. It was a very large room with a firm mattress and large bed. There was a clean private bathroom in the room as well. She has two dogs but we wouldn't have known that the entire weekend if she hadn't introduced us to them. It was extremely quiet and the room was a good temperature. We were welcomed by birds and a cornfield when we awoke the next morning. Meg laid out a nice assortment of breakfast items and a couple glasses for water and coffee.
Meg was a perfect host - she let us have our space but was available for whatever we wanted or needed. She went out of her way to make sure all our needs were met, and even left us fresh coffee, English muffins, and fresh honey for breakfast each morning. The room was spacious, bright, and clean. We had a perfect view of the open cornfield. My husband and I felt very comfortable and welcome. I loved the dollhouse in the room that her mother made. The town was cute and secluded. It was a nice place to come home to after traveling between Lansing and Ann Arbor for a couple days.
