Description

The space

For a really quick "get to know you" a few old timers meet almost every morning on the main floor in the north room for coffee from 7:30 to 9:00. Entry is up the deck and in the north door. Go on in and introduce yourself!

Guest access

You can sit in the common area at the top of the steps, and share the laundry facilities, and the deck on the north side of the building. By request or scheduling ahead of time, you can have meetings on the main floor.

Interaction with guests

I am available in person or by phone or text. Let me know when you will be arriving and I will either meet you, or text you the entry code to the building and your room.

The neighbourhood

A gym is 1/2 block west. A bakery is across the street. Freddy's pizza is just across the street to the west and 1/2 block north. Spanky's Bar is 1/2 block east. A grocery is 1 block east and 1/2 block north. 18 hole golf course is 2 miles away. The water park is 1 mile west. Lots of fun stores on Main street just out the front door.

Getting around

Parking is available next to the building. If you are staying during the weekday, it is appreciated by downtown shopping customers, if you will park your car in the back, off Main Street. At night, you can park on Main Street.

Other things to note

The entry is up a flight of steps and not-wheelchair accessible. The deck and main floor are wheelchair accessible with a ramp, so if you want to meet other family or plan a meeting, just let me know.

The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay, if in the area at a future date.

The location was a historic downtown. We arrived late so the shops were closed. The loft and building were better than the pictures so I was very happy. We enjoyed the clean and updated loft. Love the colored glass on the windows. Our host, Cathy was quick to reply via text so we felt welcomed and comfortable accessing the flat. I'd use this rental again.

Our rooms were wonderful! We stayed in the blue suite and the yellow room. They were absolutely wonderful. They were clean, secure, and just a few steps from a restaurant, a bar and grill, a coffee shop, a bakery a grocery store, and a movie theater (as well as all the other things in downtown Seneca). The kitchenettes had everything we needed, along with microwave popcorn and several kinds of soda in the fridge. The rooms are beautiful and are a wonderfully preserved piece of history. Cathy was so accommodating and responded quickly to all of my questions prior to our arrival. This is absolutely where I will stay next time I am in Seneca. Thank you Cathy!

Cathy User ProfileCathy is a superhost.

I'm a wife, mom, grandma, and Hospice Social Worker. I love visiting over a great cup of coffee and making friends. I like a movie that keeps me on the edge of my seat, but not horror movies. Contemporary Christian music is my favorite because it soothes my soul. Taking care of my things and other people's is important, because I hate waste. Traveling is even better when I make friends along the way.
