Two rustic, no frills homestead cabins on 5 acres in a great area. Main cabin is your sleeping cabin. Second cabin a few steps away is your bathroom cabin. About 1.4 miles (as the crow flies) to the Indian Cove entrance station. Short drive to either 29 Palms or Joshua Tree entrance to the Park. Isolated and private, yet easy access to amenities in either JTree or 29 Palms. Nice old west vibe with great views and lots of privacy! An authentic desert experience!!

We stayed for three nights, doing a couple of hikes in the Joshua Tree in the days. We really loved the little cabin and its lovely surroundings. It gave a great sense of privacy, and yet we were so close to the park. The way that Peter has decorated the outside spaces added even…

A rustic, yet comfortable and secluded/peaceful getaway. A short drive from all the stores and restaurants one may need. But, I highly recommend packing some food, using the bbq grill, or bring a small stove/burner and not leaving the property at all during the stay. The long slo…

Really magical stay. Remote but, places to see and go nearby. Peter, the host, was accommodating and responded quickly. The place was quirky and well appointed - We had a great peaceful time!

Peter's place is magically beautiful, so cute and comfortable. I went for some quiet and to get out of the city... it was the perfect place. The bed was so comfortable... It was very clean. I would book it again. Peter was very helpful and friendly.

Great little casita between joshua tree and 29 palms, near the entrance to indian cove campground. after four days camping in the park with our 8-month-old, this was the perfect place to land for a couple days of relaxation. Peter describes the place as no-frills, which is true…

Desert lover, explorer, photographer... My wife and I have spent weekends in the 29 Palms/Joshua Tree area for about 10 years now. A favorite pastime is taking the Jeep and camera gear out and exploring new destinations and hikes in Joshua Tree National Park. Night photography …
