It's a laidback area but within walking distance to most major sights and also adjacent to the Old Jewish Districts that are not only known for Europe's largest synagogue, but currently, it is also the hippest neighborhood with the famous ruin bars but also a lot of great restaurants, clubs, and regular bars. The Palace District has plenty of unique restaurants, and Mikszath Square is home to many bohemian cafes and bars. So you can either relax in the immediate area or throw yourself in the thick of things -the decision is yours.
