About this listing
Two bedrooms in the 1752 house create a suite. (private entrance) One is a bright bedroom, with bathroom, & walk in closet the other is a sitting room with work space, TV, & light food prep area. My Windsor is Art, Jazz, History, and diversity.
This house was built by hand 260 years ago. Native people lived nearby and USA did not exist. Every historic homecoming, someone waited here. The house is warm, sheltering and, being here, you feel part of something very special.
The suite is on the second floor with its own entrance through the front. It is a very private space.
Interaction with guests
I enjoy telling about the house's history and showing the details. If a guest wants a tour I am there for them. If they want to be alone, the space is autonomous.
Windsor, Hartford area supports upscale eateries, and the small local purveyors of ethnic and regional cuisines are well worth finding. The cultural diversity here is striking. Jazz, latin music, Salza socials, A-list performers, Hartford Stage all flourish in an unpretentious environment.
