David was a great host. He met us at the football field so that he could lead us directly to our place. He was great to talk with and the apartment was delightful. I would highly recommend a stay with David. The apartment was set in a lovely Garden very peaceful and private and the kitchen was nice.

We felt very comfortable and safe at Casa Las Ranas. David was friendly and well versed with the region. He was prompt in his electronic communications prior to our arrival and was available to tell us about San Pancho. David is friendly, honest, and thoughtful.

David is a fantastic host with a lovely home in San Pancho. We stayed for a week and enjoyed walking into town (about 15 minutes), swimming, shopping, and eating. We were in the downstairs of his 2 rentals on the property and it was never an issue to have guests above us. We had rented a car so it was easy to get around and do trips to nearby towns and beaches. The room had everything we needed for cooking and an outdoor line for clothes drying which was super helpful. Speaking a bit of Spanish made it more enjoyable to get to know our host but not necessary for your stay. Disfrutamos de nuestra estancia!

David was an amazing host and we could not have been happier with the casa. It was close enough to the action, yet far enough away to have amazing night's sleeps. Thank you!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Rojas, from the beautifully tiled and extra large shower to the peaceful yard with star fruit and banana trees. Our hosts David and Suzy were very kind and generous, giving us fresh star fruit daily. They also provided a large container of fresh water to drink. David was available to fix anything we asked for and did so multiple times. We stayed 1 week and had housekeeping provided midweek. The only issue was the noise from the local roosters which started at about 5am, so if you are a light sleeper, this maybe something to consider. All in all, a great stay. Thank you David and Suzy.

Casa Las Ranas was our first airbnb experience! We loved being away from the hubbub of the town and beach scene, and walking in over the bridge, neighborhood and main drag every day. It was hard to know ahead of time what we would have preferred, and decided that we had made the right choice. It was quiet for the most part, except for some large truck noise from the highway not far from our Casa. It was clean, comfortable and spacious for the two of us with everything we needed to prepare our own food. We especially loved hanging out on the patio mornings and sometimes evenings, drinking tea, eating breakfast and playing our ukuleles. David was ok with us bringing the indoor table and chairs outside, which was nice. He was a most gracious host, keeping in touch with us before we arrived, giving us good advice on where to eat, catch the bus, shop for food etc. He was also very friendly and spent time chatting with us which we enjoyed very much. Unfortunately our Spanish was next to nil and David's English is limited, but we managed to make ourselves understood. We also felt that we had all the privacy we needed when that's where we were at. The difficult parts were trying to contact David once we arrived in San Pancho in order to tell the taxi driver where to go. He didn't answer the phone so we had to figure it out by other means. I must mention that we did not arrive when originally intended because we missed our flight and didn't arrive until the next evening, but we did keep David informed of our eta. Once we did arrive he was very kind to drive us to the market to get some food and cervezas, and show us around a bit. We had some trouble with two of the stove burners and decided to just deal with it since it happened just a couple of days before we left. I imagine David would have attended to it had we let him know. As common in semi rural Mexico it seems, there were roosters crowing at the crack, or before the crack of dawn, which was not our favorite thing. Nothing that earplugs can't fix. San Pancho was a nice laid back little town which we were happy about. The beach was beautiful and long, but due to a steep drop off, the surf was rough, so we didn't get to swim in the ocean as we had been looking forward to there. We did enjoy the Estero with all the different birds to watch, and another bonus which we were fortunate to be at the right place at the right time was, when hundreds of baby turtles raised at the sanctuary were released in the ocean near sunset right there on the beach! All in all we had a great time in San Pancho and were very happy with our airbnb choice!
