960 sq feet, 2nd floor of a triplex. Very bright.
Everything has been renovated, decorated and meticulously thought to offer a romantic gateways or a peaceful retreat : the warmth of the fire place, brick wall, beam crossing the open space, sliding antique doors, well equiped modern kitchen, huge bathtub and ceramic shower, wooden floor or heaten ceramic floor and of course a great comfy bed with duvet.

We live on the first floor so we are around if need be.
The area is emerging. It is mostly French and very far from the “m’as-tu vu of the Plateau” ;-) Affordable and very close to downtown!
Every social classes; artists, francophone families, single persons. Visitors like it for a completely francophone Quebec immersion.
The Ontario Drive is located two blocks away, where you will find everything you want to discover, try or buy! Charcuterie, fruit stores, pharmacy, small cafes nice to stroll: Antidote and Atomic or bobby McGee. A little further but worth the short walk, our favorite bakery and dairy Arhoma (up Valois), where the nice ladies offer their best smile and the best bread in the neighborhood. Shops of natural products, tree yoga centers near by.
For dinning out, our culinary “coup de coeur” are the Canailles, Mr. Smith, État Major or les Affamés. Several restaurants you can bring your own wine!!! For a night out: The Irish pub "Le Trèfle" hub of the comedians, bars or public space like Blind pig (Hipster crowd) or free events at Place Valois for all ages.
Also, Denise Pelletier Theatre ( or the Star City Cinema (at the Olympic Stadium)
Homa loft is a great alternative to hotels if you go to the Olympic Stadium, the Botanical Garden or Center Saputo (soccer), which are 2 km away (20 min walk).
Parking is on the street. We will explain you where to be sure you won't get a parking ticket.
5 min walk Bus no 29 Rachel to station métro Joliette (green line) or bus 125 directly to downtown.
Also bike route on Adam and Notre-dame street: bixi bikes for rent 5$ a day, near by!

Vicky: experienced in the tourism industry for over 10 years. Love people, culture, hosting. She decored and add the cozy touch.
Jacques: handy man, is the creator of the renovation and improvement.
The couple: Travel lovers, trilinguals (French, English, Spanish) very happy to make their dream coming true.

We prefer non smokers but smoking is permitted on the back balcony!
