Interaction with guests
Our manager in Coeur d'Alene is available by telephone and can provide general help and assistance. ️
This riparian area is removed from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Two quiet neighbors - this property truly is a world away. Watch for deer, wild turkeys, bald eagles, osprey, and maybe even a moose! Fish from the dock or bring your own boat.
This property necessitates having a car to use as it is 15 minutes to the closest towns. 4-wheel drive is necessary in the winter. We are located directly off of Dufort Road, a 10 minute drive from the turn-off on I-95 North.
Other things to note
Because of the secluded nature of our location, be sure to shop for staples (groceries, coffee, marshmallows, gasoline, etc.) before arrival. Sandpoint (20 min.) or Hayden/Coeur D'Alene (45 min) are your best bets on I-95. On Hwy 2 it would be Newport or Priest River for shopping.
Guests are expected to respect the house and enjoy the natural area around them! No smoking inside the house, and pets are allowed. Children are welcome, but must be monitored at all times when outdoors due to raised deck and possibility of fall. There may be wildlife nearby, so additional vigilance is suggested. 3 night minimum booking.
