The space

Location - Beluga Seaside Cottage sits on the beach side of Cyrus St, right next to the Hyams Beach Cafe and the beach.

Key Features - Artfully decorated while making your comfort a priority, the property boasts high ceilings, a fully equipped modern kitchen, chic white dining suite and a smart sitting area with comfortable couches and TVs in both (URL HIDDEN) coloured china & glasses make every meal feel like a seaside fiesta. Enjoy cooking on the gas BBQ and for cooler nights get warm and cosy in front of the slow combustion fireplace.

Configuration - On the ground floor there are two beautifully decorated bedrooms with windows looking into a leafy courtyard garden. One bedroom has a small private deck accessed via sliding doors. Also on this level is a bathroom with a roomy shower plus separate basin & toilet. Laundry is in a hidden cupboard in bathroom. Step upstairs into a light airy integrated living space with two decks both with ocean views to Bowen Island & Point Perpendicular.

Outdoors - There is a small communal garden shared with the townhouse next door. The decks have BBQ and outdoor setting. There is an outdoor shower.

Heating and Cooling -Beluga is equipped with a combustion fireplace. There is also a pedestal fan in the master bedroom and two electric heaters in both bedrooms.

Linen - Linen is provided at Beluga Seaside Cottage. Just remember to bring your beach towels.

Parking - There is off street parking for one car in an uncovered parking spot in front of the townhouse.

Pets - Sorry, Beluga Seaside Cottage is not a pet friendly property.

Guest access

Guest have access to all parts of number 2/76 and have access to one car space.

Interaction with guests

Our property is not a bed and breakfast, so we will leave you in peace during your stay, however if you need us, please contact The Holidays Collection on (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN)

Other things to note

Minimum stay - there is a minimum 2 night stay for all bookings, which changes to 3 nights on long weekends, 4 nights at Easter and 7 night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of the Australia Day long weekend in January.

Peak changeover day - please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable.

Internet / Wi-Fi access - please be aware that there is no ADSL in Hyams Beach and poor ADSL internet in most other areas of Jervis Bay. As a result, until the NBN is rolled out, none of our houses offer internet access. If a house has internet, you may nonetheless use it with no guarantee of reliability or bandwidth by us or the owner. If you bring an internet dongle with you, the best network is Telstra, followed by Vodafone. Otherwise, use your smart phone only during your stay or go across to Huskisson where various cafes offer free wifi. The Sanctuary Point Public Library and the St Georges Basin Country Club also provide free Wi-Fi.

• re the security bond held by airbnb for your stay: if you look after the property like your own, respect the peace and quiet of your neighbours, take out the garbage, don’t move furniture, don’t un-cable electronic appliances, only have pets if allowed, and do not get too drunk or rowdy…you should be OK
• please also be honest in reporting damage or breakages, and plan ahead to leave the house and the dirty dishes in a clean and tidy state.

What a wonderful place to have the family stay for a few nights. We love the peacefulness, the beach, the house, everything that we needed are available. Thank you Kylie and Graig. This property has a great beach vibe, lovely airy open plan first floor living space with sea views. Handily situated behind the cafe in Hyams and a 2min walk to the white sand beach. Highly recommend this property for a family get away.
