Nils was a fantastic host--very accommodating and friendly. The room was very comfortable and the entire flat was very nice and clean. The room has a beautiful view, looking out over a park behind Matthäuskirche. The room faces west, so I saw some gorgeous sunsets. There is also a nice Saturday market out in front of Matthäuskirche. The place is in a perfect location--near the Rhine, but also near grocery shopping, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc. I would definitely plan to stay here again if I return to Basel.

Nils was an excellent host. Very kind and courteous. The Room was larger than expected, clean, and the neighborhood is located in a trendy area close to fun bars, public transportation, and the Rhine. I enjoyed staying at his place and meeting his other (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN). One consideration to mention is that there is a church across the street with a bell that go's off every 15 minutes all day & night. Although annoying the first night, I quickly adapted and did not even notice for the remainder of my two week stay.

Nils User Profile

Hi, I'm Nils from Basel, Switzerland. I love traveling. I've travelled almost whole Europe, Turkey, USA and parts of South America. Finally back to Switzerland, I started studying sociology and economics at the University of Basel. I would describe myself as a open-minded, interested person. I love good music, good arts, unknown movies, exciting stories, my friends and family, basketball, summer & sun and of course: meeting people from all over the world. I know the city very well. I made some airbnb-experience, when I stayed in New York for two weeks. Also, I was travelling through Europe by a similar website.

Because I met so many host friendly people on my travels, I would appreciate to welcome you as my guest!
