The neighborhood is what you will call ''The REAL Bangkok'' with not too many foreigners not tourists and English is basically spoken, but smiles are everywhere. There is a Tops supermarket and 7-11 (both 24/7) located , a local market nearby and on both sides of the street plenty of street food from all regions of the country.
A taxi to Wat Arun or Khao san road from here cost around 60 Baht. The BTS brings you in 2 stations to the Central Pier. Here you can take the Free shuttle boat to Asiatique, or the Chao Phraya River express, to Bangkok's famous tourist attractions such as Grand Palace, Wat Arun and Wat Pho.
Conveniently located 200 meter from the BTS and easy access to motorbike-taxi's. The BTS brings you in 10 minutes to the Central Business District in Silom and in 20+ minutes to the shopping center area of Siam Discovery, Center and MBK. Transfer to the Airport Rail Link to get convenient access to the International Airport.
