Wander for hours along the 7 mile stretch of beach in Manzanita. Stop at the city park and let the kids play on the playground while you play volleyball or tennis. Hone your golf skills at the Manzanita Golf Club or Driving Range. Rent a bike and head to south of town to explore Nehalem Bay State Park. Nehalem Bay State Park offers horseback riding, a boat launch, and trails to both the bay and ocean. Drop a crab ring or toss a fishing line into the bay. Search for eagles, herons, seals, and otters who make Nehalem Bay their home.

This was our first time booking a rental through Airbnb. We found the experience a very good one. Jill was very responsive to inquiries that we had. The house was clean and the location was beautiful. We were just minutes away from the beach and being at the house was quiet and restful. The bedrooms are large and each bedroom has its own bathroom. We only used the kitchen for the upper unit and it was well equipped. We would definitely rent this house again.

Jill was wonderful. We ran into a few small housekeeping items when we arrived and after talking to Jill sounded like it would not happen to another guest again :) House was as described, pool table on lower unit was a big hit. The Finding Nemo VHS was also a favorite of our sons. The house both upper and lower had great space to talk and not feel to cramped. The driveway is a bit steep but managable even with our SUV and small trailer. Deck is great (it was very stormy during our stay but if the weather was nicer I imagine we would have spent alot of time on the deck. The trees were awesome and made it feel very private. We only got to visit Manzanita once on our trip but it is a super cute town, and being a vegan family were very impressed with all the vegan options at the grocery store.

Jill's house was so lovely to stay in. It can be rented as two apartments, an upper and a lower, each with two bedrooms, two baths and a kitchen. It is so comfortable, and nestled right in the woods. It has multiple fireplaces, a pool table, and an outdoor deck with multiple layers. Jill was an amazing host. She was communicative, caring, and gracious, and made the whole process very very smooth. I highly recommend renting from them!

Jill's place was the perfect spot to explore the Oregon coast from. We had a great time and the house had everything we needed.

This home was everything the post said it was and more. It was the perfect holiday retreat for all our adult children and grandchild. The layout is great. It was so comfortable and open on the main floors. We could all be in the living, dining, kitchen area (8 of us plus 1 year old) and have plenty of seating/lounging options. If you love pool or even think you might like it, the pool room will again give you plenty of space and enjoyment with a beautiful old growth view. The bedrooms were larger than I thought they would be, each with a full bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and cookware and a double oven. The outside decks are large and we look forward to a visit in summer when this outdoor space can be taken advantage of. Jill was extremely responsive, even late on Christmas eve when I had questions before our arrival on Christmas Day. And for those who connect with "energy" in a home, this one is a thumbs up. Our family is very grateful to have found this gem and look forward to future visits.

I love to spend time outdoors everyday. Whether its walking my dog around the neighborhood, hiking, bike commuting, or skiing, a few hours in the sun or rain keep me happy. I also love to spend time with my family and to travel anywhere and everywhere. Of course, I always love to come home to Portland and it's creative artsy vibe, healthy delicious food, and awesome craft beverages.
