Seamlessly merging indoor and outdoor spaces, it provides inspiring serene vistas and caters to guests of all ages. A mile from the river, six minutes from downtown Guerneville and ten minutes from downtown Forestville, it is a great haven for a family vacation, a girls weekend, a guy getaway or couples’ retreat. Enjoy the summer sun or cozy up to a fire during the winter in this lux refuge. ALL AGES

The space
A thoughtfully designed and updated home centered around a great room (23ft x 32ft, 750 sqft) with a vaulted ceiling that combines a large lux modern kitchen for cooking, a dining area to eat and a cozy living room to hang together. It doesn’t matter where you are, you’ll have great sight lines to your loved ones and the beautiful natural landscape outside.

The kitchen has been beautifully updated with everything you could need to make an amazing meal, reheat food bought out or set up hors d’oeuvres for everyone to snack on. You're covered for the morning with kettle, and both a coffee and nespresso machine. For cooking indoors you have a convection oven and induction cooktop, microwave, and a toaster oven. Tucked away you also have access to a waffle maker, toaster, crock pot, mixer, blender, food processor and panini press to help make amazing meals. This kitchen and amenities is a cook’s paradise.

The open concept living room has an extra large comfortable couch and leather chair to spend time playing one of the many board and card games, a 65” 4K smart TV to catch the big game or a movie, and a cast iron wood stove for a cozy evening during the rainy winter months.

The primary bedroom on the main floor has a king-sized bed, a 55” 4K smart TV, full-sized closet and direct access to the back deck, hot tub, and panoramic view of the legendary woodlands. The primary bedroom has an en-suite bathroom that includes a curbless walk-in glass shower.

The second guest bedroom on the main floor has a queen-sized bed, full-sized closet, and side table lamps with wireless phone charging. This room also has a dedicated work space with a full-sized desk, 27” display screen, and ergonomic chair that looks out to the enchanting garden.

If that’s not enough, this lavish property boasts an outdoor space that won’t be forgotten. Included is a fabulous, newly built, enclosed courtyard on the front of the house with a pizza oven, table for 8, and a seating area with a gas fire pit, massive sun umbrella and two cozy outdoor couches. The back deck has a 6 person hot tub, BBQ Grill and plenty of places to lounge in the sun while enjoying all the nature around you.

NOTE: There is a third bedroom that allows for 2 extra guests. We have a separate listing that includes that room at an additional price, however, should you want to add this room to your rental please let me know. It will be an additional fee.

Guest access
The whole house is available to you, with three parking spaces; one car in the garage with Level 2 EV charger (J1772), one space in front of the garage, and a one car parking space on the side gravel drive. The house also includes a whole home battery back-up in case inclement weather affects the power grid. There’s also a ping pong table that can be set up in under a minute in the garage.

NO DOGS (service dogs only) allowed on the property. If you are bringing a service dog please notify me.

Neighbourhood highlights

Our neighborhood is a beautiful place to call home. Guests are welcome to walk through the whole neighborhood, Tunstall is a good butt burner and Canyon is an easier stroll. However, please be respectful towards those who live here. If you are looking for a longer walk, the next street over from Tunstall on the 116 is Odd Fellows. You can take a longer walk along the river or head to town to tour Armstrong Woods. You are also a short drive to the coast where there are plenty of outdoor activities. There is a section in the binder that has more information.

Hi, I'm a Sonoma County local who loves the outdoors, music festivals, dogs and snuggling with my husband. I'm a fun loving social person with a really good network of conscientious, caring and thoughtful friends. My husband (Joshua Poe) and I love to travel and through doing so, have a great appreciation for the areas that other's call home. I am a host in Sonoma County so we understand the importance of respecting another persons's space and community. We have two puppies that are growing fast, they have weekly training sessions and when asking to rent a pet friendly home we would be happy to supply homeowners with information on our little fur babies.
