Old historic village, literary connections (James Joyce), green area close to city centre. River Liffey runs through it and it's home to the wonderful Phoenix Park where you'll find Dublin Zoo and the lovely Farmleigh House. Close to Guinness Visitor Centre, Collins Barracks museum, Heuston train station, M50, Liffey Valley shopping centre, Dublin city centre (5km away). Chapelizod is steeped in history and is a peaceful oasis close to town - best of both worlds.
Proud Dubliner. I travel a lot for my work as a ski and travel writer which means my little place is empty a lot. My natural home is on the road, moving from place to place. Love skiing and the mountain way of life but also love cities, including my own (even though we have to make do with hills!). The most important thing in my life is to feel free and have fun, lots of it! I'm driven to live that way so my little home in Dublin is simple but suits my lifestyle. My life motto is definitely 'do everything now, while you can'! I'm friendly, love a good laugh and live for the good times.
