Interaction with guests

I work during the day, Monday to Friday, and can be busy with work so I'll try my best to respond to any questions or issues you may have during your stay. Just text or me and I'll try to respond right away.

I have lived in NYC for 8 years and know a lot about it so it's hard for me to list everything I know in the Guidebook. Ask me for recommendations and I'll try my best to help out :)

The neighbourhood

My apartment is located in North Williamsburg on a beautiful, quiet street. This neighborhood has all the best boutiques, bars, restaurants, food fairs, and music venues in a 2-3 block radius. Greenpoint is only a 10 minute walk. Brooklyn Bowl and Output are 3 blocks away. This is truly one of the best and most desireable locations in all of NY.

Getting around

By subway, 2 blocks from the L train on the Bedford Ave stop, which is the first stop in Brooklyn.
By taxi, It's about 15-20 minutes from LaGuardia Airport (about $35-40) and 25-30 minutes from JFK (about $45 plus tip). But I know a licensed Chinese-run and owned taxi service for 20-30% cheaper, please feel free to ask me.
By train from Penn Station, it's about 20 minutes.
From Penn Station, take the A/C to 14th St. and switch to the L to Brooklyn. Get off at Bedford Ave. Walk 2 blocks to Berry and N. 8th.
L train to 14th st. Union sq. is only 10 minutes away. Meatpacking is only 15 minutes away.
You can also take the East River Ferry, only 4 blocks away on N 6th & Kent Ave.
Citi Bike ($10/day): 100 feet from apt. plenty of places to re-rack throughout Brooklyn
Buses: B62 Downtown Brooklyn - Long Island City, stops along on Bedford Avenue, closest stop on Bedford & N 7th.

Other things to note

The bedroom and lounge/dining room do not have windows but light shines through the entire apartment when the doors are open (please see photos).
