About this listing
***Lions tour supporters***
We are about 5 or 6 minutes drive to the local bus depot that will drop you directly at the game on game day!! No sitting in traffic or walking miles from your car to get to the game!
Wake to the peace of the country yet be at NZ's largest mall & cinema complex in 5 minutes. Or on the Auckland motorway network in 4. Or at a beautiful east-coast beach or café in 10. Enjoy a gorgeous home in the Sth Pacific's most-liveable city.
The House is a brand new renovation alongside the main home complete with decks and a spa pool ("jacuzzi").
The main lounge has a very cool lofted ceiling space allowing loads of natural light to enter through the roof dormers.
The full kitchen is extensively equipped with absolutely everything you will need: from complete meals to simply reheating pizza. There's a hob, underbench fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, microwave and all the pots, pans and implements you may need.
The House includes full laundry facilities too - washing machine, dryer, tub, a drying rack and outside clothesline for your exclusive use.
I have decorated it in neutral tones with flashes of colour and splashings of "kiwiana" art.
You will have full run of The House and exclusive use of the private spa pool ("jacuzzi"). It is a fully separate house and totally private on our property. There is plenty of parking and the house has its own private access.
Our house is also on the property if there is something I can help you with.
Interaction with guests
I am generally around and almost always available on cellphone if you need me.
With that said, my "perfect world" is to start you off so well that you won't need me. I will certainly leave you alone to come and go as you please and enjoy your kiwi holiday! ;-)
Other things to note
I have ticked "cable TV" because there is no other option but what I mean is, the Little House has Apple TV and access to Netflix shows and movies.
We have ticked the box to say "pets on the property" - we have a Spoodle called Libby. Very friendly and non-moulting so no problem if you suffer from dog allergies. :-)
I really want you to enjoy your stay and live in this funky Little House like you would your own home. In my world, this means "make yourself comfortable, enjoy the facilities, no smoking and no holes in the walls etc" - just like your own home really.
Thanks! We are looking forward to having you stay!

Hi there - I have travelled with Air BnB myself and I am looking forward to passing on my very best experiences to you.
I am married to Phil (he's the CEO, director and owner of a civil engineering company) and together we have 3 beautiful children. I own a small Occupational Therapy practice for children but my first passion is being a fulltime mum.
Although I am a very proud kiwi I was born in England and early in our marriage Phil and I lived in (and fell in love with!) the UK for 4 years.
My favourite things are my family, travel, friends and my home.
When it comes to travel, between us Phil and I have been all over the place. Mexico, the USA, many South Pacific islands, Asia, India, China, Israel, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Australia and right throughout Europe.
Most recently we ("we" because we almost always take the whole family!) - have spent 6 weeks in France, Spain, Italy and the UK and we got to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary in early 2015 in Samoa.
My favourite destination is hard to choose (so many great choices) but Samoa, England, France and Spain would all have to be right up there!
I enjoy reading, watching foreign movies (but the boys sometimes drag me to one of their action, sci-fi movies under duress!) and love just about any live show or musical.
I'm super keen on vegetarian style cooking (I am not a vegetarian though) and like trying new things in the kitchen.
If you were to have me as a guest I think you would find me pretty easy going. I love an easy rhythm to life and, if you read some of the Air BnB reviews from our recent trip around Europe and the UK you'll get a pretty good idea of how we roll as a family.
If I had a motto it'd probably be something like "help others, have fun, enjoy life".
