i partially live in West Africa and i try to sublet my room, OR the entire place, as much as possible when i'm out of the country. This apartment has been in my family for over 60 years now. I love it, its got a tasteful vintage style, its cozy, it walkable distance from anything you could want or need (stores, pharmacy, restaurants and transportation). Its got all around windows which brings in sunlight all through the day.
Comes will full services, unlimited internet, washer-drier in the basement, pretty much everything you need, even a fully functional photo-printing darkroom!. Culturally diverse, calm and safe neighborhood. Far enough from downtown's noise and stress but close enough to walk to it! Buses and subways each run just a block away.
Guests can access all parts of the apartment except, obviously, my room if i happen to be there. (kitchen, bathroom, living room and basement)
Other things to note
There is free parking on the street, never a problem finding a very nearby spot as its not a dense part of town and completely residential.
