Liz was a great host for my parents, who I booked this stay for. Nicely decorated, clean, comfortable. My parents had their dog with them and Liz was extremely accommodating.

Liz' provides everything and more that a traveller might want or need. Her place is spotlessly clean and the bedroom is very large. The bathroom shower works very well and she provides loads of towels. Restaurants in the area are not] great, but there are plenty of places available. The subway is about five blocks away and the one at 231st Street has a lift. You can get downtown quite quickly using the express buses, but they don't run very often and are expensive.. the neighbourhood is quite safe. Liz is an excellent hostess and will provide lots of assistance. She is very concerned about her guests' welfare. There is no lift in the apartment house and you will have to go up two flights of stairs if that would be a problem for you. All in all, we were very satisfied with our stay.

Liz's apartment was to die for! Certified cleanliness complimented by aroma therapy all through your stay. This was my first airbnb and I'm not sure a stay somewhere else can top this one. It was spacious, also great decor, and she made sure to provide towels, toiletries, even a nice bottle of Pinot Noir! My favorite wine by the way. The pictures don't do this place justice, you'd need to check it out for yourself :) Highly Recommend!

Liz offers guests a lot of hospitality. The room is very comfortable. However, the neighborhood does not feel very safe.

Response from Liz:
I'm truly emphasize with your experience in an unknown neighborhood in NYC. I seek for an opportunity to change such perception so you can embrace my beautiful and safe hometown. Riverdale is ranked #1 in the section of the Bronx. Data obtained by (URL HIDDEN) plus my personal experience living here for 4 consecutive years. Some have never really been exposed to the elements of a large city such as New York City. For some, It is like discovering an entirely new way of life that they had only heard stories of previously. It is immediately apparent to some that New York City is not the same as their hometown. It seems like everyone here is in a hurry to get to another place. The loud and constant sounds of people or cars honking is heard throughout the city. Everyone in the streets walks at a brisk pace that indicates a rush to be somewhere. New York people love to enjoy the beautiful weather as we tend to have long winters. The transportation of the city is also far different than anything that they had ever been exposed to. Riverdale is a section of the Bronx, it is a multicultural host for those coming to explore its surroundings. Here the folklore of Hispanics, Jews, Albanians, Indians, Italians and Americans is at full display. The community is growing as Riverdale is expanding its architectural structure with new buildings and businesses and malls.

I'm an easy going person, I love to sleep, in fact, I will say that's my number one hobby. I drink lots of coffee to stay up and function like any regular human being during working hours. I love to travel and meet new people, so bringing travelers and knowing their stories in my house is like going around the world in my pajamas while saving some cash. I'm certain that I'm silly because I laugh at my own jokes. lmao. I'm a very positive person, I don't see obstacles but stepping stones that take me to the next level of thinking, yeah right, life is difficult, I'm just hard to kill, like a snail will say, I'm very slippery. Honestly, I have more lives then a jumpy cat. I'm just happy I can breathe so please do not smoke around me.
