I've been hosting for over four years and have prided myself on providing a wonderful guest experience in Melbourne. I have owned my little part of Melbourne for 16 years now and wouldn't trade it for the world. It's just the perfect location!
The Melbourne Apartment is great for short term rentals of either two nights or up to four weeks.
Nestled in a Heritage Listed Boutique Building (circa 1911), a vestige of the Melbourne “rag trade" area. in the beautiful Flinders Lane.
It's a quirky homely environment with lots of character, not a hotel, so if you are the sort of person where everything has to be perfect, maybe its not for you! But if you like personality combined with comfort then we think we have it just right.
Unfortunately the apartment and building is not wheel chair or walker friendly, being an "over a century" old building with 6 steps in the entrance foyer. You will cope though, with our complimentary little shopping trolley if you decide to splash-out at any of our amazing boutiques, or patisseries.
The apartment is fully furnished with Queen size bed, and sofa, fully appointed kitchen, refrigerator and freezer, washing machine, dryer, hair dryer, flat screen television, unlimited wifi.
There is a sofa bed for a friend sharing the apartment with yourself. So you don't have to bunk together (always a bonus!)
Located in the best spot in Melbourne, entrance is in the gorgeous Bligh Place, one of the most beautiful lanes in Melbourne for cafes and restaurants. In fact a showpiece lane for the City of Melbourne, where cafes, restaurants and residents coexist in harmony.
It will feel like you are in Europe!
The lane is well lit at night with security entrance and intercom.
Our apartment is right in the heart of the CBD, with cafes, restaurants, bars, shopping, train and tram, 24 hour supermarkets, exceptional lane way off Flinders Lane that is reminiscent of Europe.
The Melbourne Apartment is close to everything. Leave the car and walk to Melbourne's amazing attractions, theatres, the arts, South Bank, Casino, National Gallery of Victoria, Federation Square, shopping, bars and cafes.
Nearby there is a supermarket, bottle shop, City Library, Flinders Street Station, Trams and more only a few steps away.
Linen and towels are included (which have been professionally laundered), and complimentary coffee and teas.

I was literally sad to leave it. Excellent kitchen and bathroom, romantic bedroom alcove. Fast internet. There is a fabulous restaurant and great bar right outside the front door. Karen, it was gorgeous, I felt like it was mine, my home. Even though I was obviously just visiting, it suited my style and taste perfectly."

Other things to note
I love the proximity to transport and everything is within walking distance. We are in the free tram zone making jumping on and off trams, if you don't want to walk, a breeze.
ANIMALS - No animals are permitted in the apartment.
Music must be kept to a minimum level.
Make-Up must not be removed by using towels or hand towels or left on pillow covers.
Elevator must be locked out at all times for security and for our neighbours.
Rubbish must be placed in bins which are located in the Bin Room located in the foyer before departure.

FUNCTIONS - Our accommodation is for residential purposes only. Functions or parties are strictly prohibited.
OCCUPANTS - It is required to provide the name/s and mobile contact number and if traveling with children (their age/s)
DAMAGES - All damages during your stay to the apartment, items within the apartment and adjoining apartments will be billed to the person who booked.
