This home is perfectly nestled in the mountains on a “point” directly above Breckenridge. It sits on 1.2 acres backing up to the National Forest. It is a great year-round retreat. There are spectacular views from the home, deck, and hot tub. It is open and spacious, and Steve and Nancy provide many basic staples of a home and more for you to use. Winter guests are recommended to have a 4 wheeled vehicle to reach our home. The roads are regularly graded, but the steep terrain can be difficult.

Nancy and Steve have a wonderful house just five minutes away from the lifts, with spectacular ceiling to floor views of Breckenridge's peaks. Elevated above the town, their home is warm and comfortable, with a perfectly designed great room for viewing the mountains, visiting with family and friends and staying warm by the massive earthstone fireplace. Topping it off are a hot tub and steam shower. When we go back to Breck, we definitely want to stay at Nancy's and Steve's house.

Steve was just outstanding. It was my first time mono skiing after my accident last spring, and Steve got on the phone with me before we booked to make sure we had all the details worked out. The place is just beautiful (nat geo views from the hot tub), and it's quick drive over the Breck slopes. If you're able to, I highly recommend staying here!

A fantastic, ski-lovers dream! Great location, just a short drive to the ski slopes. Plenty of space, we were a group of 10 and with the 4 bedrooms, we all felt comfortable with room to spread out. The host, Steve, was quick to respond when we had questions. He was fantastic! The kitchen was large and accommodating. The hot tub was wonderful and easy to figure out how to use. It came equipped with space heaters for the downstairs bedroom and humidifiers. We will definitely be back!!

Fantastic home with a ton of amenities. Very clean and comfortable. Great WiFi and cable. We didn't use hot tub but it was ready to go and had a view of the mountain peaks. Fireplace was amazing and Steve had a full Rick of wood available. It is five minutes from town driving. Not an advisable walk due to lack of sidewalks. If visiting in the winter we suggest 4 wheel drive vehicle as the roads leading up are steep and winding. Upon our arrival we had to avoid a mini van sliding backward on the mountain road. Very quiet solitude that we looked forward too each evening after a long days on the slopes. We will definitely stay here again. Restaurants nearby: Extreme Pizza, Briar Rose for steak, Ollie's Sports Bar for awesome bar food and sports.
