My husband, daughter and I love to travel and have truly enjoyed our experiences staying with Airbnb hosts throughout the world. We are former travel writers and when we decided to host, we wanted to create a space like those that we have enjoyed most - a home to come back that offers a taste of local life. Portland is a wonderfully walkable town. Good restaurants, bakeries, cool cafes, theater, movies and galleries. If you happen to plan your visit for the right weekend, you may even be here for "First Friday," a monthly street party and chance to see the latest exhibits and meet an artist or two.
