“Willie’s cottage was in an ideal location as it was only A couple of kilometres from Anthlone. Restaurants , Pubs and grocery stores within minutes of cottage. Excellent place to stay and was very clean with all the amenities you would want. Willie was a great host who met us in check in and answered any questions we had about the cottage and gave us great information about the area. Highly recommend this accommodations to anyone.”
Beautiful, peaceful, and tranquil location in the heart of the countryside, (this means it is in a rural, country setting, narrow roads etc), yet just 10 MINUTES AWAY FROM THE LOCAL VILLAGE OF AHASCRAGH, AND 12-15 MINUTES AWAY FROM BALLINASLOE. Also just 40km from Galway city and 30km from Athlone. Bright, Clean and comfortable accommodation, with quiet roads perfect for leisurely walks.
“The house is very good! Quiet, well-equipped, and even heating in July (a friend is very cold). The landlord was extremely friendly. When we found that there was no foil in the room for the oven, the landlord took the baking tray and foil to us at home, thank you very much! Seen from the kitchen, I can see a few calves and two white horses, romantic! There are two shortcomings, no Wi-Fi, far from the town (mainly through a few kilometers of single-lane roads, it is basically impossible to drive out at night). Other perfect!”
