Enjoy the private roof terrace on a summer’s evening with beers and wines on tap 30 seconds away. The flat has its own spiral staircase leading up to a private roof garden & flat entrance. Parking for 1 car only. However, this is down a long drive with no turning space so reversing skills required.

It is a unique little hideaway in Rusthall, on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells. Sensitively and skillfully built out of a collection of architecturally salvaged materials. Warmed effectively by a woodburning stove the living area is a comfortable and bright place to work or relax. There is a little kitchen area and a sofa by the fire and dining table.

It sits on the Kent and East Sussex border in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With its wide range of eating places and shops, Tunbridge Wells is a great base from which to explore the beautiful Garden of England. The owners live alongside the Cowshed but respect your privacy.

Old Smock Windmill in rural Kent

Old Smock Mill is a romantic place for couples. The atmosphere inside is peaceful and relaxing. Everything is designed to unwind you from the moment you walk in. It is surrounded by the lovely Kent countryside where you can ramble and refresh yourselves by perhaps ending the day in one of the great pubs cosy by a log fire in Winter or in Summer in an English garden. Guests have said how hard it is to tear themselves away, it truly is a treasure to find.
