Place of worship
“Aubeterre's monolithic church was cut into the rock over many many years. Like something out of an Indians Jones movie the church attracts 80,000 visitors a year. Worth a visit and its nice and cool inside. If you get too hot and the walk into town why not stop off an treat the kids to the artisan ice cream at the shop next door. The balcony at the back has great views and plenty of shade.”
