Great apartment in the most convenient location in NYC!
A one-bedroom apartment in Gramercy Park/Flatiron. It is just a couple steps away from the 6 line on 23rd/Park and close to Madison Square Park, Gramercy Park, and Union Square. The N,Q,R station is one block away. Despite its location in a busy intersection, it is a quiet apartment with doorman service and elevator. Guest would be sharing the apartment with me (guest in private room, me in pull-out living room couch) Some details: The room has a queen size bed with full set of sheets and blankets in bedroom, enough space for 1. A work study area and HD TV flat screen in living room. Cable and Wifi service provided. The apartment is spacious, very clean, and cozy. It is also filled with sunlight. Laundry machines are located in the building. The apartment has a kitchen with basic cooking necessities. A 24/7 grocery store is located just one block away. I am more than happy to help you with any questions/dinner recommendations/fun bars during your stay for my neighborhood and other places in NYC.
  • Great location, Daniel is super nice! 2nd time staying here and would definitely stay again!

    Kate2017-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • The location was great. I was attending a conference in Manhattan and it turned out to be a 5 minute walk to get there. Daniel was very helpful suggesting several good restaurants and where I could find groceries. I was very comfortable staying with Daniel.

  • Daniel is a great host. Very friendly, very easy to talk with. The bed is huge and comfortable. Great experience.

  • Great apartment in a fantastic location and the host was fantastic he provided me with lots of helpful recommendations.

    Karsten2015-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Nice apartment, great location. Daniel is friendly and easy to get along with. Our only issues are the internet is unreliable (if that's important to you), and we couldn't find the topsheet for the bed (granted, he probably had it, we just kept on forgetting to ask about it). Overall a great stay.

My apartment is located right near the Empire State building in New York City. Close to all major subways, it's a small space but is perfect for 2. Apartment is situation on a beautiful tree-lined street, features high ceilings, natural light, a kitchen for essentials & renovated, spacious bathroom. Perfect for families, business travelers, or just someone looking for a weekend getaway. You're going to love it!!
My apartment is centrally located to tons of great bars, restaurants, shopping, and public transportation. It is within walking distance to the Empire State Building, Times Square, and tons more. The nearest subway is one block away so it is very easy to get around. Also, the space is very quiet and you don't hear any street noise.
Murray Hill has a lively energy most hours of the day and night. In the morning, the streets are full of young professionals looking polished in their Brooks Brothers suits as they head to work. Come evening, you'll see the crowds returning home decked out in gym clothes and schlepping bags of take-out dinner and Trader Joe's. It can seem at times like every resident is a recent grad -- especially on 3rd Avenue where there's always a big game airing at one of the many sports bars along the strip. Even so, the neighborhood has a down-to-earth, casual vibe. It's true most of Murray Hill's residents are new-to-the city renters who come and go, but the place eschews intransigence and maintains a familiar, relaxed New York feel.
  • Dave's place is a nice little studio located in Murray Hill. It was clean and convenient. I really appreciated being able to get the keys late at night, due to a late arrival.

Located in the heart of NYC, 2 blocks from subway, nice restaurants and lounges, true NYC living. Very convenient and just few blocks to Empire State building, Macy's, and Penn station.
It's on 2nd floor in walk-up building. Guest will be using private bedroom in 3-Bedroom Apt, sharing living room & bathroom & kitchen with other guests. Spacious, Clean & Elegant space, perfect for single or couples. Supermarket, cafe, restaurant, everything is in walking distance.
one of the best neighborhoods in NYC, very safe and a lot to do around here. nice cafes, bars and restaurants. Macy's is down the street on 34th street. This apartment is 2 blocks away the subway station
  • First of all, amazing location near Penn Station! Second of all, it was not as loud as the other reviewers warned. I was in room C, so I don't know if that makes a difference. I slept like a baby without any earplugs. The space heater worked very well, too. The room was cold at night, but once I got the space heater one it warmed up in no time! One issue I had was getting the hot water to work in the bathroom. Thank God, Ben was there to save me! (Ben is a resident who helps out) Ben woke up just to help me get the hot water to run in the bathroom. He taught me that I have to get the handlebar just right at a 45-degree angle. Thanks, Ben, you went above and beyond to keep me feeling welcome and cared for. You're a life saver!

  • This apartment is a very cozy space. It does get very warm in there (I slept without the covers on most nights, during winter). But overall I had a nice time staying there! Also I had needed to extend my time here, and Tommy was extremely helpful with that!

    Amber2018-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Place is as detailed in the description. Felt a little weird because of the changing laws regarding Airbnb in NYC, but never had an issue.

    patrick2017-12-07T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place for price. Quiet/residential area. You may need to travel to central areas for nightlife or shopping. Tommy was patient and kind when presented with any issues!

Remarkably located in the heart of Chelsea, Midtown Manhattan, within walking distance of Penn Station, FIT, Madison Square Garden, High Line Park and Theater District our hostel style separate pod rooms are simple, cozy, and very clean. Although small in size they are centered around a spacious common lounge area with free WiFi. We are on-site 24/7 to make sure everybody is happy, peaceful and safe. Fresh, clean sheets, pillows towels and blankets are there for you.
    solo travelers on budget
This neighborhood is called: Chelsea. There are literally hundreds of small unique restaurants, shops, book stores, galleries, theaters and pubs in Chelsea. You will find, gently-strolling, pedestrian traffic at all hours of the day of evening. Chelsea is not a dark, or dangerous area. It's a neighborhood that's full of life. Many artists, musicians, writers, actors, FIT students, other graduate students, similar intelligentsia, and creative people live in Chelsea. I think you'll like it here. You can get anywhere in New York City quickly and easily from here. The subway station is two blocks away (a two minute walk).
  • Thank you for the unusual accommodation in the retreat room ,possibilities to distribute the food for the homeless

    Lonnie2017-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • As advertised, charming public area/living room, fruit and some tea available all day, sleeping can be difficult as it is noisy (no ceilings in each room).

    Tanvi2017-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • A very good place for travelers to stay.

    Kevin2017-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • Cool location, quaint but small arrangements. Worth a stay if you need a great nap spot and a place to crash. Shared pod-style living.

    Ross2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • The hosts were very nice (especially when I messed up with check-out time) and easily accessible. The "pod" I had booked was a little smaller than what the pic portrayed but it was clean, cozy, and most importantly, I felt safe and had privacy. If you just need a place to sleep for a night or two, this is perfect.

    Miranda2017-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great value but can be loud

    Bill2017-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Chelsea cabins are great place to stay if you are a single traveller and need a bed for a few nights. Great value for money. Perfect location to explore NYC. Plenty of coffee shops & grocery stores nearby. Close to the metro stops & Penn Station (JFK is about 1 hour from Penn on the E line & AirTrain). Kirtan cabins are in a large room with about 20 small single cabins, each with a bed, bedside table with lamp, a shelf & pegs for clothes; mirror & pictures on the wall. Each bed has clean sheets, 2 pillows, duvet & blanket; the place was so warm (in March), you didn't really need them all. As people say, the beds are small (I am 5ft 6in) and it was about the right size; the ceiling is a lattice framework so you can hear other people, but in general, everyone is quiet so you tend only to hear snoring, sniffles, bags being unzipped, occasional phone ringing or alarm going off, but you are provided with ear plugs, which I thought were pretty good. You won't have much room for luggage, but small bags can fit under the bed. There is a lovely lounge area to use all day to sit, read, eat, use your laptop (there is WiFi) and a small kitchen area provides simple breakfast of cereals, milk, bread & lots of fruit, all of which is available any time of the day. Hot & cold drinking water, coffee, tea & hot chocolate too. Microwave, and small fridge & freezer for your own use. Bowls, cups & plates, cutlery are all paper/card/plastic, so no washing up. Bathroom (in the same room) is shared with both male & female, 2 showers, 2 sinks (with mirrors) & 3 toilets, all kept very clean. Ironing board & hairdryers available. Check out at 10am & it's safe to leave your luggage with reception if you are leaving late. Alex even offered me a towel for a shower before I left for the airport. You get a key to lock your own cabin & for the entrance door on the landing. There is 24hr reception with CCTV watching the main door on the street, so I felt safe and secure. Door on the street is locked at 11pm, but you have a key fob to let yourself in. There is no lift - you will need to take your luggage up a flight of stairs. It is Interfaith who follow Hare Krishna, but you are not preached to at all. You can join them to feed the homeless but you are not harassed at all to do this. Summary - it is not a 5* hotel. You get what you pay for. But you get great value for money (approx £60 per night, March 2017) for somewhere warm, clean, safe, friendly and a great location to explore New York.

  • Your host make me feel welcome. It is a good place to stay one night. However, the size of the room is really cute.

  • Alex was very welcoming and helped orient me to the Retreat Center. It was a safe place in the middle of New York City in which to put my head down to sleep. Simple, no frills.

    Jacqueline2016-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • Alex met me at the door, friendly guy. Definitely not what I was expecting inside though - church music (all day), extremely thin walls, pictures of God(s) everywhere. Room was small but as expected (for the price). Relaxed atmosphere. Construction on the floor above was ongoing throughout the day, so noisy. Free food, which was very generous. No meat was allowed inside the building which I was unaware of beforehand (they're vegetarian).

    Adam2016-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent place to stay! Yes, the room was small but the airbnb is in an perfect location, the people who run it are extremely friendly, and the option to help within their program providing food for the homeless is really rewarding! I will definitely stay here again!

    Iris2016-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is not for someone who wants to be spoiled with materialism. Truly a secret Mecca, a safe haven... for those seeking the Divine. Perfect location for Penn Station and access but even more... quiet and still. You will hear snoring etc. but if you have any vision the energy is clean and clear. Meditated every morning as if I was on the banks of the Ganges and not in Manhattan. Much love and blessings.

    Michael2017-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Alex and his staffs allowed me to volunteer in their meal distribution service, it was truly one of the best experiences I had in New York. Clean and cozy room, gotta love the breakfast corner, which a great variety of bread and cereal are served. Very helpful staff too!

    Anthony2017-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • The stay at the Center was perfect for my needs. I only required a simple, clean place for a brief time. It was in a convenient location and was very tranquil.

    Virgil2017-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, very close to the subway. Alex was very kind and helpful, always asking if everything was fine, if there was something else he could do. 24h breakfast was great!!! Lots of fruits, different cereals, milk, coffee, tea, peanut butter, jam, variety of bread, etc. Really nice touch. The pods are small as per the description (if you’re really tall, your feet will touch the wall), there was an open trellis instead of a closed ceiling, but the ear plugs provided really do help. My two large suitcases fit under the bed and there was a large shelf above the bed for extra storage, a small bedside table and hooks on the wall. Shared bathroom/ showers were kept clean at all times. Overall, if you only need a place to crash at night and some delicious and substantial breakfast in the morning, this is perfect.

Beautiful large loft in the heart of Chelsea and Union Square. By museums, Greenwich Village, close to the water, and steps away from every major subway line in NYC. Great bars, clubs, and restaurants, as well as shopping within walking distance. Comfortable queen size bed in the loft and a great twin daybed in the main space fits 3 easily. Plenty of light and charm.

Perfect location! Convenient, private room in a shared apartment. Newly listed room - Please see our other listings for more reviews of the space. We just listed the room and it is still a bit of a work in progress, which is why it's such a good deal!
Your room does not face the street, which makes things nice and quiet-- a real rarity in NYC. Natural light through your window is minimal, which is great for light-sensitive sleepers. Your room is also the nearest to the door, so you have lots of flexibility and privacy to come and go as you please. Our 2,200 sq ft apartment is up a couple flights of stairs and occupies the entire floor. It is shared between guests and your hosts. Interaction tends to be pretty minimal because everyone is busy doing his or her own thing in the city. I often go days at a time without seeing anyone else. We keep the apartment as clean as we can, but please understand that it is an older building and shows its age. The occasional guest expecting a gleaming new hotel might be surprised by this, but the vast majority of people are thrilled to book one of the best deals in NYC.
  • Great location!!

    Vivian2017-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • I was very pleased with my stay here. The location was roughly a 20 minute straight-shot walk to Times Square, and because my sister and I spent the majority of our time seeing Broadway shows it was ideally located for the price. The room and other accommodations were clean, and having access to two bathrooms was a lovely surprise. The apartment was on the hotter side (we had a scorcher of a weekend), but there was a personal cooling unit in our room which helped immensely. The bed was comfortable for two people, and there was no discernible noise coming from outside or the other guests staying there. Communication was excellent and our hosts were very flexible on check-in and check-out times, allowing us to leave our luggage in the living room on check-out day and drop the key off before heading to the airport. Overall, it was a great place to stay at a great value for the weekend. I would recommend and stay again.

If you're willing to come to help with the meal distribution for two hours for one day of your visit (from 9:30AM until 11:30AM) we can offer you a lower price. No smoking, no alcohol, no meat products are allowed here. And no spitting on the floor :) If this works for you - contact us. Remarkably located in the heart of Chelsea, Manhattan and within walking distance of Penn Station, Madison Square Garden, and Times' Square our freshly renovated private rooms are simple, cozy, and very clean. They are centered around a spacious common area with free Wi-Fi. Our crew is on-site 24/7
  • Great place to sleep for a short time (less than 4 days) in NY !

    Pascal2016-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Simple, clean, basic. Great breakfast for free (coffee, tea, cereals, organic oatmeal, breads, nut butters, fresh fruit and berries etc). The little rooms are tiny. Enough space for the bed and your suitcase. The rooms don't have ceilings so you can still hear what other guests are doing. Ear plugs provided that helped a bit.

  • Very good place to stay if you want quiet, but would only recommend if you are staying on a quick trip or on a very limited budget. Its a hostel, so the rooms are very small, but very comfortable! The hosts are amazing, so very nice and welcoming, plus helpful in every way. Because it is centrally located, the people are friendly, the place is extremely clean, and the room is affordable, I will most definitely stay again!!!

  • Central to most everything. Great place to stay.

  • Great 5 night stay for a single traveller who is spending most of the time out in the city. Clean, no bedbugs (or other bugs), and I asked for a clean set of sheets and towels a few days in and got it immediately. You will hear others couching or walking around, but 90% of the time other quests were very quiet. The bathroom is coed but very clean. 2 private shoer stalls as well. The only difficulty you might have is if you are over 6'2 or so. I am a hair under 6' and it was comfortable for me. Would stay here again!

  • I'm a person who likes to sleep with some white noises, so this place is absolutely a great choice for me. Check-in is fine, the staff there is friendly and passionate, although with a little bit of accent that might takes a little time to understand his words. I've booked a single room, but turns out they seemed to have some trouble with the room they planned to give me, so they gave me a double beds room instead, so lucky! The room is clean and tidy with comfortable beds and sheets, along with clean towels and a pair of ear plugs. There are bright lamps and very enough lights to brighten up the whole room, many hangers and a little table, many plugs for you to charge cellphones, cameras, laptops, etc. The kitchen is filled with a lot of fruits, cherries, grapes, bananas, apples, and there are many kinds of bread and cereals and snacks 24 hours, with milk and orange juice in the fridge. They have a toaster, water machine, and a microwave. The bathroom is clean and nice, the only thing that I have to complain is that everything is so high! Since I'm a little short (158cm), it's a little hard for me to look into the mirror or reach the showerhead. Shampoo and rinse and other supplies are not provided, but there are a lot of those from all over the world left by other guests. Noticed that it's suggested to bring your own slippers or flip flops. There's AC in the whole building, almost a little too cold. There's no real ceilings in the room, all the rooms share the floor's ceiling, thus it's easy to hear voices or sounds from other rooms. But for the three days of my stay there it's quite quiet. It's close to the Penn station, five minutes to the subway, and about 30 minutes walk to Times Square. There's a 7-11 downstairs, and a Chinese/Vietnam restaurant that opens to 4am, some other delis and restaurants also within a short distance. It is a fairly nice place to stay in NYC!

    Carolyn2017-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • Alex and Zeena room was really tiny but confortable. It should be enough if you need just the space to sleep. The staff are all very kind and helpful. It was good location! Only 3min walk to Penn station and manhattan. Thank you so much!

    綾乃2017-12-05T00:00:00Z
  • Alex and Zina gave me a warm welcoming, even before I came. they offer me to arrive before my check-in time just to take a shower, eat something from their kitchen and leave my bags so I could start exploring the city. They did the same at my Check-out, told me to keep the keys of the place and travel in the city as much as i want till my flight departure (11p.m). The place is always quiet, clean, and offers different food such as fruits, nuts and different kinds of bread and cereals. they encourage me to take food as much as I want, just like my grandmother :-) In my opinion, it is important to understand that the rooms are at the size of a single bed and one baggage. there are lots of rooms in the same place, and you can hear those who around you. so, as long as you a traveler which explores the city, and only looking for a place to crash during the nights, this place will be perfect for you, just like it was perfect for me. If you're looking for a place to pass most of the day, you should consider it in view of what is listed above.

This Vegetarian House and Non-Smoking property offers our guests cozy single cabins. To complement your stay at this unique little property we throw in the price a luggage storage space and complimentary breakfast with a selection of organic teas, coffee, bread and cereal as well as milk, almond milk and fruit. Get yourself the best good night's sleep one can possibly find in NYC for the price asked. Zzzzzzzzz
Please note that we are a hostel type of place with single cabins. We are small in size but very clean and friendly. For a proper ventilation and heat/cold distribution our cabins have a wood lattice covered ceiling. The pictures give a very accurate representation.
Our neighborhood is Chelsea! What it means? It means that you are minutes away from Broadway, Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden, Times Square and other famous wonders of NYC.
  • This is a good place to stay if you need a clean bed to sleep in. The staff was friendly and the location is central. It has a bit more of a midtown feel, than the quainter parts of Chelsea. It's quite a tight space and there are a lot of little cabins packed in. It was smaller than I imagined and the "laptop working station" was more so just a few barstools at a small counter where people also eat breakfast, so it wasn't really conducive to working, which was disappointing. The walls are really thin and the ceilings aren't fully covered, so you can hear snoring, phones buzzing, talking, etc. All in all, it was a decent place to say and the staff are very kind. However, I think for the price, I could have gotten more at a hostel where there are larger common areas and amenities and quieter sleeping accommodations if you have a smaller number of people in one room.

  • This is a great location if you are looking to make a short, casual visit to NYC. Located in the heart of Manhattan, its very close to public transportation - very important if you are a first time tourist like me. The staff are very courteous and willing to help. They provide you with an option to hold your baggage after you have checked out. This is very useful if you want to do some sightseeing for the day. The complimentary breakfast provided is substantial and has good variety. Bathrooms and showers are spotless and well maintained. I'd like some more pressure in the shower though. Overall very good experience for the money charged.

  • Fast communication during booking, very good location for access to town. (Walked to Times Square in 20 min). Shops and food right infront of the accomodation. Great place & friendly staff. Thank you !

  • Great little place to sleep for a brief trip. Very clean, helpful staff. As others have mentioned, as these are cabins with very thin walls, I brought ear plugs and slept very well. Also, for those who are tall, I am 5”6 with a thin build and the bed was just barely enough space for myself, anyone bigger may want to take this into consideration. Overall pleasant stay and would recommend!

Place is in the middle of everything, short train ride (or walk) to Hudson, financial district, times square or central park. Really enjoyed my stay and will be back here if I get the chance.

  • Nicole is a great host! She's very responsive and answers all the questions patiently. I was a bit late for checkin because of the unexpected traffic, but she was very flexible and adjusted her time for me to get in. Her place is located in the center of Manhattan, I was so happy that she took me to the roof top of the building, my mind was literally blown away by the AMAZING view of the night of Manhattan. That's definitely one of the most memorable experience of my whole trip to NYC. I would highly recommend to stay at her place :)

Truly best location + absolute luxury = perfect NYC home away from home. Located close to almost every major subway line in town, across the street from the Flatiron Building and Madison Square Park, surrounded by the best restaurants, shopping, and hotels in New York. With 27' ceilings, more than 1,000 square feet of space, and gigantic palm trees and deluxe furniture, you will not find a more enjoyable space to live in in New York City.
1100 square feet and the highest ceilings in New York City. Full of light from the giant skylights, and 15' palm trees. You're in the heart of Manhattan, but you feel like you're outside. The wonderful kitchen is lovely to prepare meals in to enjoy and the giant 12 person dining table. The bedroom is equally well lit, with its own skylight with a direct view to the Flatiron Building.
Across the street from the historic Flatiron Building and Madison Square Park, you can see the Empire State Building just a few blocks away. You can easily head uptown, downtown, or cross town -- there is no more convenient location in Manhattan.
  • Bobby was easy to communicate with. His place is located in a great area in the flatiron district and close to restaurants, coffee shops, drug stores etc. His place is also very big and has high ceilings with great amenities. King size bed was very comfy. The only issue a person might have is that there is no elevator, so you have to walk up 3 flights of stairs to the 4th floor. If you have an injury or health issue this might not be the right place for you. Aside from that Bobbys place is great!!!

    John 2017-12-19T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay in Robert's apartment and would stay there again. Much larger than typical New York apartments with a comfortable king bed, fully equipped kitchen and spacious living room and dining area just as pictured. The location is ideal with subway access less than a block away and many great restaurants within a few blocks. Robert was very accessible and proactive in making sure we had everything we needed.

    Kevin2017-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • This place is hands down the best value for the quality and location.

    Vincenzo2017-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • Robert is an amazing host. His location is superb in the flatiron district, central to just about everything. The apt itself is spacious yet cozy, modern yet familiar, and well supplied in the kitchen for those who prefer to shop across the street at Eataly and cook at home. :) We will definitely return! Thanks Robert for the great stay.

    Jason2017-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great place Great host five stars

    Mariarosa2018-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I stayed at Bobby's apartment for about two weeks while I was working in New York, and we enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment has a lot of nice touches and is quite large by New York standards. The living room has a super high ceiling. Comfortable, soft bed. There's a skylight in the bedroom that you can see the flatiron building through. Ample drawer and closet space. We didn't do any cooking while we were there because there are tons of delicious restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but the kitchen seemed well-appointed. There is a huge dining room table -- we could easily have had a dinner party if we'd been so inclined. The TV is larger than it looks in the photos. We brought our chromecast to connect to the TV and it worked well. There is nice L'Occitane shampoo and conditioner in the shower. All in all, a great trip. P.S. Try the chocolate egg cream at Eisenberg's, a tasty deli a couple doors down.

    Lauren2017-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • Robert's place is immaculate. Actually you are lucky if you even get to stay there. His place is the cleanest place I've ever stayed in, and it's like a secluded quiet sanctuary in the midst of Madison Square Park, one of the busiest central locations in Manhattan. How is this possible? Because although the entrance its practically facing the park, it's in the back of the building facing the back of other buildings, and you literally cannot hear a thing. But then one would ask, "If it's not a front facing unit, then it must be dark?" Quite the contrary, because this mini palace of a duplex is the top floor with huge windows and two huge sun roof windows that make it filled with natural light. It was truly a home a way from home, and will always be my first pick in Manhattan from now on.

    Vincenzo2017-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • What a space! Robert was an awesome host, fast to communicate and great list of what to expect and how everything worked in the apartment. Location was outstanding, and the apartment itself was perfect. The worlds greatest bed looking up through the skylight at the Flatiron... unforgettable. The stairs up are not for the fait hearted, but they are no worse than any other New York apartment we have stayed in. Hurry up and book this before someone else does!

  • I absolutely loved staying at this place! It's small, but very clean, room really fits my style -- and at a generally good price. Excellent location. The Freehand had been open only about a week when I stayed there. When I booked them in mid-January their AirBnb listing did not disclose some additional taxes or a facilities fee (which was waived for me). Be sure to read the "Read More about the Space" section carefully -- additional taxes add up to between 15-18% or so. I suggested the same info be added to the "House Rules" section. It's unclear if any reference to a facilities fee has been added. I will stay here again!

Live the NYC experience by staying at this apartment, located in the heart of Chelsea. It is ideal for family and friends looking to explore the city. This apartment is centrally located and is located a block away from most major subway lines.
My apartment has everything you need for your next NYC stay, including two bedrooms with queen beds, a large kitchen / living area, bathroom with all amenities.
Uptown affluence and downtown style come together in Chelsea. Cutting-edge art galleries and wonderful nightlife mingle with sought-after high rises and converted warehouses in this ultra-fashionable, and ultra busy neighborhood. Chelsea's world class architecture, fine dining establishments, and hip nightlife scene contribute to its first-rate reputation.
  • The apartment is perfectly located with easy access to public transit. The beds were very comfortable. The host was flexible with our check in time, which was greatly appreciated. The heater is a bit tricky and if there is not a person to check you in (as in our case) difficult to figure out. The pilot light went out and we spent one very cold night at the apartment. Once the host got back to use about how to restart the heater, everything was perfect.

This is an AMAZING location (right by Empire State Building), one of the most central areas in NYC. This is a nice, clean, new, quiet studio in Koreatown which sleeps 4 comfortably but can hold 6. Steps away from majority of subways, minutes away from Time Square & right in the heart of Manhattan! You will LOVE this location! Bed arrangements: 2 - Full bed 2 - Queen inflatable mattress 1 - L couch 1 - Pull out cot
Please be respectful of our home, neighbors and building. This is a great, central location to stay and explore NYC from. It is not a place for parties or rowdy behavior... thank you in advance for your consideration! This is a studio with an open half kitchen Studio sleeps 4 comfortably, which is our accomodation recommendation (2 on the full size bed & 2 on the queen size inflatable air mattress). However for groups interested in an economic option, there is the ability to sleep 5 or 6 (1 on the L shape couch and 1 on the pull out cot) if desired. Please message me if you any questions! NOTE: This set up is usually intended for families with children or groups that just want a place to sleep. Please keep in mind this apartment is a studio so it will get cozy if you pursue this option!
This is in the HEART of Manhattan / New York City. The apartment is in Koreatown right next to the Empire State building.

  • I stayed here with 4 friends during our spring break and we all had a blast. I would definitely stay here again. The place was small but very nice. I would recommend this place for 5-6 ONLY if you guys are just looking for a place to lay your head and you guys are a very close that being cramped is not an issue. If not, this place is great for 1-4. my group were all super close so we didn't mind being a little cramped. The host communicated very well with us. We were able to get the keys quickly and they were very nice. Only thing that really sucked was that the room is on the 5th floor and there was no elevator to the building. However the room came with almost everything we would have needed. Towels, a few dishes, mini fridge, toiletries, only thing missing were washcloths. The place is a 10 min walk from time square which was awesome and Was across the street from a parking garage( kind of expensive). Really enjoyed this place and will definitely stay here again if I am ever back.

  • Loved the apartment vibe. Roommates are awesome. Location is great (subway on the same block & donuts, coffee, comedy club, etc. all within walking distance). Honestly, had a blast just walking around and exploring the neighborhood. The pizza joint and 24-hour dinner down the block was an awesome experience. Definitely felt like I had a New York experience. Would recommend.

  • Checking in was a little weird because we had to drop our stuff off at a front office first, but after that, everything went smoothly, no complaints. Thanks Henri!

    Cassidy2016-06-19T00:00:00Z
  • Clean and easy. Close to everything!

    Frankie2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Henri's place was just as it was advertised! It was close so everything for our first trip to New York. The wifi could have been better, but we were barely home at all anyways!

    Kaitie2017-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • I enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean and cozy. I found out why it's called the Sunny (Website hidden by Airbnb) has a nice roof window that let's in the sun so the room gets enough natural light. Henri was a great host and was very attentive. I would definitely stay here again.

    Aldo2017-04-05T00:00:00Z
  • Small easy place to stay for a quick city trip.

    Larissa2018-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Henri was very welcoming and accommodating, especially since we arrived so early! The room looked exactly as pictured and clean. I would definitely recommend staying there if you're ever in NYC.

    Annie2016-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • The place is exactly how it looks in the pictures and the location within Manhattan is perfect. Unfortunately the walls are very thin because I could hear the neighboring people too much! Otherwise Henri is a good host.

Chic bedroom in a brownstone at Union Square where you can step one step to the vibrant life of Manhattan. Located on the Fifth Avenue shopping area blended with local fun with lots of bars and restaurants around from fine dining to real deals. *Message me for monthly rate
This is a bedroom in a funky shared loft located right in Union Square where you can enjoy the city at its most without trading off the space. The room itself has lots of natural sun light from windows and skylights. We understand after a long day, there's nothing better than resting on a super comfy bed. The bed you have in this room is a Full size with high quality mattress. Don't make yourself walking a few blocks to get a laundry like majority of New Yorkers have to. Put them in our washing and drying machine before bed and wake up with clean clothes for a productive day (the most valuable thing of a listing in NewYork!!) There is also a large kitchen. Join us cooking and prepare your own meals. Detergent, softener as well as tea, coffee are complimentary. With this unbeatable location, the room is also ideal for guests who are traveling for work a month or two, who are in a transition of looking for a permanent rent.
Unbeatable location. The hub of trains and buses. W hotel and Hyatt right around the corner. Easy to go either downtown or uptown. Union Square is an important and historic intersection in Manhattan which has a residential charm but also lots of activities around - restaurant, bars, cute coffee shops and more to that lots of lives - street performances, rapping battle and Green Market happening every weekend. From here you can get to anywhere in Manhattan with trains and bus.
  • Mai was great and had the place ready for me super quickly on an extremely short booking-to-checkin window request. Perfect crash pad in the heart of Union Square.

  • Mai was overall a great host! She was very friendly and helped with bringing up my suite cases. Throughout the month there were some problems with the apartment but Mai was very patient and worked through them. She's also very thoughtful. It was a great stay.

  • Enjoyed staying with Mai. Her apartment is at a convenient location. Would recommend if you do not mind a private room in a house where other rooms are rented.

  • My stay at the place was a big pleasure. The host is super nice and she is flexible in check-in time. Also she is extremely responsive before, during, and after my stay. Would absolutely recommend this to my friends.

Sunny and cozy apartment with an absolutely amazing location! Positioned in the middle of everything. Steps away from multiple subway stations, shopping, dinning, the High Line, West 4th restaurants/bars/jazz scene, Chelsea, Soho, greenwich, west & east village!
Live like a New Yorker in this trendy 2 bedroom apartment with a hip environment. Perfect for families and young groups. Ideal location between a selection of subways for easy transportation which you won't need much because you are walking distant to all the fun attractions of New York!
You will be in the most charming and beautiful neighborhood in NYC. Full of gorgeous brick townhouses, charming little streets, and fantastic restaurants, bars, cafes, and shopping. Go for a run on the gorgeous West Side Highway overlooking the Hudson River!
  • Great apartment! The host responded very fast to my inquiry. The space is very nicely decorated and everything looked brand new. I was given some great recommendations for restaurants and bars during my short stay. The apartment was very clean with plenty of linens / towels / shampoo... etc. I would definitely stay here again in my next visit!

The Empire State Building is within a few blocks. The world renowned Times Square is close enough to visit and far enough to not disturb. A safe neighborhood to walk through with the kids. Stunning and spacious loft apartment! Two Large Bedrooms! 2 Living Room Areas! Location is a major key of this Apartment. Next to Madison Avenue and 5th Avenue in the center of Manhattan. 2 Different Subway Lines only a few minutes walk away.
The bedrooms are away from the street and quiet. 6 people can sleep conveniently. Super High 15 foot Ceilings. 2 large private bedrooms. Full dining area. The living room faces the street. 2 Living Room Areas. 2 TVs! One living room area is large for hanging out, the second one is perfect to get away sit down and relax and watch some TV. The apartment has a great layout for families and big groups. You may not want to leave the apartment.
My place is located in Midtown South Manhattan. We are bordered by Koreatown, Nomad and Kips Bay neighborhoods which means a variety of cultures, foods and fun. The iconic Empire State Building is only 3 blocks away. Other major attractions in the area are the lesser known Chrysler building, the United Nations headquarter, and the world renowned Times Square. Transportation is not an issue as there are cabs, Ubers/Lyfts, and the subway is on the same block.
  • This apartment was cozy, clean and excellent location. I would definitely be interested in staying there again. It would be nice to have access to thermostat as at times the temp was set too warm. There is a key fob to get into the building so you feel secure. It seemed that most of the people in the building lived there, not weekenders visiting the city. There is laundry but you have to purchase a card/ load funds onto the card - if you are staying for a while this is a good feature but probably not convenient if your staying for a few days. This is a perfect spot for a group of people that are looking for a clean, decent priced place to stay that’s close to the train & walking distance to Penn Station if needed. It’s spacious enough that it has a breakfast table, small living room, and seating/tv area, along with a functional kitchen. The furniture seemed new and the beds were comfortable!

    Nixa2018-01-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great location. Place as shown in the photos and quite a big space with several couches if you do not feel like sleeping yet. Heating is good too. I highly recommend the flat if you would like to explore the city. Quick walk to wonderful dining options, nice shops and landmarks. Happy with the neighborhood. Other interesting areas such as Gramercy is near. No problem getting a cab, uber or the subway if you need to get to other areas fast. David was very kind to accommodate us at short notice. He was also very responsive to questions we had. Just an easy and nice person.

We will have two bedrooms available from December 20th through December 28th. Please ask about rate if interested in a whole apartment Awesome furnished room in chelsea, best neighborhood! Available for short term stays or longer term.
We (Brian & Shonda) currently have a great bedroom available for short term (please inquire about longer term) stays in our 2 bedroom apartment. Conveniently located on 24th and 7th, this unit is on the ground floor of a walk-up building (In other words No Stairs :-)). We have been the only occupants since it was gut renovated 2 years ago, mint condition still. Whole Foods on the corner, Trader Joe's a few blocks away, FIT, New School and NYU all within easy access. West Village, Gramercy, Meatpacking District, Madison Square Park, High Line Park, Union Square... pretty much anywhere you want to go all within a matter of minutes. Subway lines around the corner include 1,C,E. A block further you have the F and M trains. Don't waste your money on hotels, stay in the best neighborhood in manhattan!
The neighborhood is simply the best, conveniently located close to several subways and tons of great restaurants.
  • Shonda was a great host! The place looked exactly like the photos and was very cozy. She was very accommodating and generous and the stay was great. Also you can't find a better location - I walked just a few blocks from Penn Station and was there. I would definitely recommend Shonda's place to anyone!

  • Blaine's place was perfect for my needs. A couple of things to note: -It is a walk up 2+ steep flights of stairs with no elevator so if you have mobility issues this is not the place for you -Someone mentioned the smell. While there was definitely a smell coming from the Asian restaurant downstairs, the review was a little dramatic. I have a very sensitive nose and the smell of cooking oil was prominent but it was ok and Blaine has candles all over to help -Blaine was a dear and purchased a small coffee pot and coffee for me to use during my stay which was a lifesaver -The apt is on a busy street and you can hear noise from the street below but it wasn't too bad. -The kitchen has very basics. No microwave but 2 burners and a toaster (and now a coffee pot, YAY!). -The apt is obviously newly remodeled -I think it would be super tight for more than 2 people -I wasn't able to get the tv to work but I had other things to do so I didn't use it anyway -Axel met me for checkin which was easy Overall I enjoyed my stay. I provided Blaine with a couple of helpful hints to make it more enjoyable and given how responsive he was, I suspect he will take care of them.

    Erin2017-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Blaine's apartment was very clean and tidy. His place is located very close to all subways and I could literally get anywhere I needed to. Blaine communicated very well throughout my stay. He answered all my questions quickly and was very nice and polite. The place had all the necessary things for my stay. I would definitely stay at his studio again. One of the best Airbnb experiences I had so far

    Dimitry2016-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • We had a pleasant stay at Blaine's studio. The location is great. Empire State Building is right behind it. Also, short distance to subway. The studio is clean. Blaine is very nice. He responded my emails very quickly. I will stay there again for my next trip to NYC. highly recommended.

    Erica2016-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Blaine's apartment is located in the heart of Manhattan. Really great location, if you want to walk a lot and see a lot of places. The apartment is clean and comfy. We didn't cook, but there is a possibility - kitchen is well equipped. Blaine is very helpful and answers quickly if you have any questions. I would totally recommend it to every couple that would like to stay in NYC for a week!

    Kamila2017-05-06T00:00:00Z
  • Overall it was pretty good experience. The only complaint we have is that there is audible club music at night. It didn't impact us too much since we were extremely tired by the end of the day anyway.

    George2016-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • I came to New York for business. Most hotels in the area have tiny rooms and are crazy expensive. Blaine's studio was more spacious than most of the hotel rooms within my budget and was more affordable. The location is very central to shopping, the subway and plenty of restaurants. Blaine always responded quickly to my messages. I would definitely consider coming back for my future business trips.

    Andrea2017-09-15T00:00:00Z

  • This place was absolutely perfect. I couldn’t check in until extremely late and the host left the keys at a safe and convenient location just steps away from the apartment. The place was stunning - I’d honestly live there haha. But it looked exactly like the photos and they had everything I’d need. Very quiet and cozy. The bed was also super comfortable! I will be searching for Claudia’s listings next time I need a place in New York. Five Stars and then some!

    D2018-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great space in Chelsea. Two units in the building, one studio and one 2-BR, both are ground floor/basement. For the price we paid ($103 per night), was a great value and close to everything!

    Katya2017-12-10T00:00:00Z
  • Everything as described on the listing.

    Daewoong2017-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • Nikki/Claudia were hard to get in touch with and sometimes did not respond at all. We had a small plumbing issue and Nikki said they would help take care of it and then just did not reply. There are about 4 hosts that rent this space together too and their communication with each other did not seem good either. The location is great - the apartment is cute and though it was clean it did smell like garbage the whole time. The towels are cheap thin white utility-type towels, the sheets average and the bathroom supplies cheap as well. I only note this because in their description they make a point to tell you how nice they are. It's also VERY noisy from above at night and early in the morning. Bed is comfortable.

  • The apartment is exactly how the pictures look! It is very comfortable and clean! The area was also great because it was nice, safe, and close to landmarks/subways. This was a perfect stay, would definitely go back.

    Lilien2017-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Check in was great with a key box in a store that’s open 24/7. We were able to get dinner and the keys all in one stop to take home after we got off an 11:45pm train. We also were able to cook dinner, which helped keep costs down for our NYC trip. Very fashionable space with great natural light!
