Garden
“Majestic park overlooking the Luxembourg Palace. A visit here is most enjoyable at any time of the year. So much to see: the ducks swimming in front of the enormous Medici Fountain, children sending an armada of small boats across the pond, the parade of sculptures of the queens of France, the manicured Palace gardens. Take a seat and enjoy the people-watching! You can also just relax, enjoy a sandwich or read a book (plenty of chairs and benches). To do some jogging this is also a great place! Free entrance.”

Art Museum
“I often visit the Jardin du Luxembourg to reflect and create. Frequently, I also find myself visiting the nearby former studio of Russian-born artist Ossip Zadkine, whose work is a dialogue between wood, stone, cement, and earth. Visitors are able to do something peculiar at this museum: touch the artwork! Ossip Zadkine wanted the visually impaired to experience the beauty of sculpture.”

Garden
“This is a hidden park on top of the Montparnasse train station. Most Parisians don't even know it exists! Enter the train station, find track 1 - 2. There's a metal staircase to the left. Take it all the way up until you're on top of the train station. It's a great picnic spot, lovely grass planes. There's also a museum of the Résistance there.”

“Large garden little known, so often very quiet, 5 minutes walk. Perfect for a little nap under a tree.”

Fountain
“This fountain is a piece of art located in Jardin du Luxembourg. Its mythological sculpture is surrounded by a 50 meters long bassin and peacful plane trees. Clearly the most enchanting place in the heart of the 6th quarter.”

“If the weather is nice, you can’t visit Paris and feel the atmosphere of Parisian life without having a picnic here. Look at the touristic boats passing by while sipping some wine”
