Turkish Restaurant
“Kazan – Turkish upmarket Kazan is an upmarket Turkish restaurant, but the food is as generous and hearty as its less extravagant cousins. The décor is beautifully opulent, with black furnishings and plenty of red and gold accents, while the menu is inspired by the food produced in the Sultans’ kitchens from the Ottoman era, but with a distinctly modern feel. 93-94 Wilton Rd, Lillington and Longmoore Gardens, London SW1V 1DW £££ ”

Chinese Restaurant
“A Wong Upmarket Chinese eatery for dim sum & a 10-course "Taste of China" menu showcasing regional cuisine. The food that he cooks here explores the regions of China rather than just focusing on the Cantonese food that most UK Chinese restaurants serve. His Michelin star is well earned. 70 Wilton Rd, London SW1V 1DE £££ ”

“Traditional café, particularly popular for breakfast. Full of character, good food and reasonably priced. It’s appeared in numerous movies and TV shows (Layer Cake, Pride, Rocketman to name but a few). Don’t be put off my the lines, it moves very quickly. You order at the counter then take your seat. They call out when the food is ready. ”

Bakery
“Superb French bakery which dates back to 1832 when Lionel Poilane, a young baker from Normandy, came to Paris to open his first shop. His mission was to revive the traditional French sourdough loaves which were not as popular as baguettes, baking them in a wood-fired oven. Over the years, their popularity grew and in 2000, Lionel Poilane opened his first shop outside of France, in London. In 2002 his grand-daughter, Apollonia Poilane, took over the company and today a small selection of different types of bread are available at their London shops in Belgravia and Chelsea. Specialities including Viennese pastries, 'Punitions' and spoon biscuits which are sold alongside jams, sweets, Biscottes”
