“Cleland Wildlife Park has been a major tourist attraction in South Australia since 1967. The Department for Environment and Water is committed to creating a sustainable environment that can be enjoyed by everyone both now and into the future. Cleland plays an important role in this strategy by helping visitors connect with animals in their natural environment. By providing an immersive nature experience, with a limited number of enclosures and the chance to get closer to some of our state’s most iconic animals, our visitors will learn more about the importance of conservation The health of our animals is our number one priority and our keepers have years of experience in managing Cleland’s population. The park is a member of the South Australian Tourism Hall of Fame after winning the 'Significant Tourism Attraction' category at the 2007, 2008 and 2009 South Australian Tourism Awards.”

“Carrick Hill is a publicly accessible historic property in the nearby suburb of Springfield. It was the Adelaide home of Sir Edward "Bill" Hayward and his wife Lady Ursula, and contains a large collection of drawings, sculptures, antiques and paintings. Completed in 1939 and built in the style of an English manor, it is one of the few period homes in Australia to have survived with its grounds undiminished and most of its original contents intact.”

“An interpretative walking trail describes the park's cultural and geological heritage, including evidence of an Australian ice age some 280 million years ago. The outstanding glacial pavements along the northern cliff tops are recognised as the best record of Permian glaciation in Australia and have international significance. This park's beach is also popular for swimming.”
