“One of the places with the best menu selection, great food, healthy portions, and wonderful service...But it's in Ajijic a busy, touristy, artsy farty, little more expencive grigolandia village. You should visit and walk around at least once...”

“DONUTS! Also, if you're a hiker, there's a group that meets here every Friday morning to hike El Tepalo. Ask the staff to find out what time they meet for hikes.”

Restaurant
“This is one of those "hole in the wall" places that really surprise you with their food. But be careful - if it says spicy - it is. If oysters are in season, this is the place to get them. ”

“While not as good as Alex's, it is a pretty close race. Small place with great hand made pasta. ”

“A quaint little bar/nightclub only open on select nights. Thursday through Sunday I believe. Open until about 2 or 3 am. Between 8 and 11 pm, it's a cozy atmosphere, great for hangs and cocktails. After 11, it gets pretty busy. Equipped with a dance floor and DJ, but sometimes they'll have live music. Cool place for the young crowd!”

Park
“Great place to "people watch" day or night. Especially fun and very active on weekends when "Tapatios" (people from Guadalajara) are in town with their families. Lots of times, there are live music events to celebrate local events. For Ex.On Sunday evening about 6:00 p.m. "Danzon" lessons given by a Guadalajara, well-know dance instructor, to anybody who shows up.”
