“This is the park that you see from the window. Excellent for sunbathing, a picnic or barbecue. Right next to it is a kindergarten that you are free to use (carefully) after opening hours. ”

“Beautiful old sailing ship found at Akershusutstikkeren below Akershus Fortress when it is not out on the sea. Christian Radich is not open to the public, but can be opened on request for small groups. Christian Radich sails on several open fjord tours in May, June and August. Booking at ticketmaster.no. From the kiosk at the dock you can sign up for membership in Friends of Christian Radich and buy souvenirs. The ship has had an interesting history as a training ship since its launch in 1937, and nearly 17,000 men and women have received their basic maritime education on board.”

“Nice, hidden park belonging to the old Freia chocolate fabric. Lots of wonderful original paintings by Edvard Munch in the old cafeteria. Open in the summer time.”

“Close to Son is the fortress Oscarsborg. Located on an island in the middle of the OSLO fjord - a beautiful place with a very interesting history. To get there you travel to Drøbak and from there you travel by a ferry that goes regularly to the fortress. ”

“Urban food market right by the fjord. Cheap & cool place that is amazing during a sunny day as you can sit outside right by the ocean. ”
