a brand new modern villa located in a quite place at 30 meters from the sea. well equipped, and confortable. close to tingkho beach, close to small cities (but not too much...) direct access to the mountains... (to be seen).

The place is very convenient. The caretaker is nice and accommodating. It's easy to find and pretty close to the public market. This is not beach front but i love how peaceful the place is. Best if you bring a car so you can be mobile to and from the house. It's a good place to stay at if you plan to go places in the south of cebu.

My girlfriend and I stayed in Bo's place for 2 weeks. We were happy with everything. A great location to have a peaceful holiday, and a good base for exploring southern Cebu. I would definitely recommend this place.

The place is clean with enough parking space. The road going to Bo’s place is cemented and concerete so it was very accesible. Ate melody was also very quick to reply. Bo’s house was clean, the beds were spacious, and with lots of cooking materials. I’d love to go back to this home and I surely recommend it to everyone.

Quiet and very relaxing place away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Walking distance to the centrum where you can buy the very basic necessities so not everything you request might not be available in the town but in the city. Yet I love this place coz it's very close to where my immediate family lives.

Spacious house with 2 bedrooms and 2 toilet and bath. You can cook as the kitchen is equipped with basic necessities for cooking. Ideal as home base if you want to tour south of Cebu. Alcoy the house location is near Bolhoon and Oslob.

It was an enjoyable experience for my team staying at Native Modern House Alcoy Cebu. It has an easy access for commuters, clean, simple yet a cozy place. Excellent place! The caretakers are very kind, the host replies quickly and is very accommodating. The house was very clean too. Location is great, only 3mins walk to the Obong Spring. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back. Everything was perfect!

Had a lovely stay here! The house is well built and designed and is very suitable for large groups. We were just two travelers for one night. We lived the pool and the beautiful waterfall design. The house was very comfortable and everything worked properly! We were very happy to have a washing machine available as we had been on the go for several days already.

We were 6 people grandparents, children and grandchildren The house was quite as described, April and Chacha are really good hosts though very careful and shy :-) but super sweet and helpful. Øyvind needs to be praised for responding really quickly if you have any questions. We were visited for 3 days by my daughter-in-law's Filipino family 6 extra people who stayed there for 3 days and then it is nice that the house is so big. Regarding electricity consumption we read reviews before ordering the house and here many people had regretted the high electricity bill! We cannot understand that. We were there for 18 days and 3 days we were 12 people we cooked almost everyday and all air conditioning systems were running full time when we were in the house. and in 18 days we spent approx. 900 KW at a price of 11 pesos it is NOT expensive. Highly recommend this house and if you have any questions please write to Øyvind. ps. there is a German restaurant and butcher where you can buy German sausage and everything. other pork in super quality approx. km from the house towards the city. and there are a lot of small kiosks where you can buy beer, chips, detergent, etc. lying across from the house.

Plan ahead. If you are planning to do other activities outside the villa ask for help or recommendation from the caretakers right away when you get there or the day before you arrive at the place.

Great place for a large family get together. Recommended.

We were 10 in total and the owner was kind enough to wave the extra fee in excess of the 8. The caretaker (April) was a sweet lady who always had a smile ready and was very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed cooking in their kitchen because we found all that we needed there. There was a sudden power outage in the evening for nearly 2 hours and although there was no generator, it didn't dampen our experience.

If you want a peace and quiet place to bond with your family, Lambug Homestay is the place. The beach sand is so soft, kids enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Wonderful Airbnb experience. Chris’s place did not disappoint. Very suited for large group, place is squeaky clean, very accommodating and friendly caretakers, amenities were as listed. The place was very easy to locate since locals know their place so we just asked. Just a few minutes walk to the beach. We had a nice sea view and enjoyed the fresh air from the spacious balcony which was just outside our room. Overall, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable experience in their listing. The price is super low for the things you get in return, even if they doubled the price it would still be more then worth it! Homestay in Lambug was awesome. Chris was very prompt with his emails - thank you! His place was perfect for our family (about 35 of us). Plenty of room for everyone and very clean. His staff is great and very helpful and accomodating. Thank you again for our wonderful stay at your place. We had a great time and really enjoyed our stay - your house, the beach and canyoneering in Kawasan Falls. I just wished the beach access was a little closer to the house. Chris' place is accurately described. The house is big and spacious. The caretakers were really helpful and accommodating. It's walking distance to the beach and the balcony overlooks the sea. The restaurant nearby also delivers food to their house for a small fee of ₱50. Would highly recommend to others. :)

The place is very exclusive and quiet, however there was a whole day power interruption during our stay, so we were not able to rest properly because it was hot in the room and they dont have generator. But I know it was not the resort's fault. Its beyond their control. Staff were very accommodating. Only that I find it expensive for a 3n1 instant coffee to be priced at 50. hehehe. But all in all , it was a good stay at the resort and would want to come back again.

We had an amazing stay at Sunriseview, don‘t even know where to start. The bungalow is behind the main house and got its own entrance. There is a bedroom and a lounge area separated by a door wirh a fridge and kettle etc. The cooking area is outside with a roof and a big table to sit at as well as a hammock. You can use the garden, and the big pool you‘ll have all to yourself. We ordered breakfast and dinner when we didn‘t feel like going into town and it was always very tasty. Rowena and Josef will always make sure that you feel just at home. The view is amazing and Dalaguete is a nice little town to explore when you want to get away from the tourist track! I would definitely recommend staying here, our little daughter enjoyed it just as much as we did!

Awesome place to stay! We loved snorkeling right from the back porch and saw some amazing coral and fish. They helped us organize our whale watching experience as well. Simple accommodation that did the trick. A bit of a drive to get to Oslob is all.

Good place to stay if you're going for Whaleshark watching (15-20minutes travel). The place is also near the marketplace where you can eat & buy toiletries and other stuff. The place is overlooking the sea so you get to catch the sunrise from their balcony. The host and the staff were both responsive & helpful with everything that we need during our stay.

The above can be cooked, the landlord also acquiesced. At the time of check-out, an older lady came out and said that we need to pay the money. Later we said that it was done with the permission of the landlord. The money was not paid after. Others are fine.

Best place to stay on Cebu, amazing views, good food, very nice helpful staff but most important the most kind host Mr Ford and his Wife! They gonna take care of you in every second of your stay. Dont hesitate to book place here. They organise transport from the city, and tell you exacly how to get to their city from anywhere in Cebu. Mr Ford had a lot adventure prepared you can buy, you gonna get local Tour guide and the driver, you wont have to think about anything and gonna pay almost normal local prices. You can eat all day in local restaurant so dont worry place is high in the mountain you are covered! Please be aware, this is nature mountain resort with limited internet (WiFi in restaurant) and long distance to the city but the best place to chill after Cebu atractions and adventures. The nicest airbnb experience ever. This place is perfect for people looking for adventure, nature and chill! Just be prepared to pay a little bit for transport (pick up 4x4 driving through local towns, awesome experience) every day but totally worth it!

Lani made this trip amazing. She organised for us everything we wanted to see. Plus, she is also super funny so we had truly great Alegria experience with locals as well. This place is super-peaceful but if you really want an adventure without tourists, go for it! Those three days were packed with amazing hikes, waterfalls, beach and canoyeering.

Great place to visit for soul searchers. If you want to disconnect from the city and reconnect with nature, this is the place to be. From booking up to check-in/out, Nigel and Tash made sure I am covered. The staff at the resort were friendly and accommodating. The place was neat and true enough, the comfort room was sparkly clean, though the drainage was clogged, but eventually the water drained. Food was ok, usually for sharing since the serving is good for 2-3pax. I suggest to have a menu for solo travelers. :) I was very happy because I was able to bring my cat with me. It was a memorable and soulful stay. Going to be back definitely!

Excellent stay. Exactly as described. Just a note that I would highly recommend AGAINST renting a scooter from Cebu, especially if you can’t drive during the day. The mountain road is pretty terrifying the first time in the dark and it takes much longer to travel through the mountains than the highways. But all and all, excellent stay. Really enjoyed the food they made at the restaurant. I would say the value for what you get is exceptional!

The place was spectacular. We just had trouble ordering food at the bar since most of what was on the menu was unavailable. 😅 Overall, the place is pretty great to chill and relax your mind at. My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time.

Had a great stay at Sun Xi, we got to relax and spend quality time away from our busy city lives. The place is gorgeous! The staff were very hospitable even though we got there a bit late. The room had a large bed, it was very comfortable to sleep, lounge, and read in. We were a bit surprised though that the bathroom was outside the room, but no worries. It gets very cold at night, no aircon needed. We got to meet their dogs also. Shout out to Gringo, the bulldog, he's so lovable and playful. They also rent out scooters but be very careful cos the roads aren't all paved. We really wanted to stay a bit longer, till next time 😊

Amazing stay at Bambo Beach House. Beautiful location and enjoyed snorkelling right in front of our room!

Nice rooms and great hosts! We arrived 4 hours before official check in and they were able to let us into our room within 20min. The room was super clean though and had a good scent to it. Overall the people were just incredibly friendly and helpful. At the appartment you have the opportunity to book a canyoneering tour (Alegria was super fun) or rent a scooter. The scooter was the best of the four we had on the philippines and the price was really fair as well. When taking a motorbike you should definitely check out Inambakan Falls, which are just a 20min ride away and were super nice and not so crowded as the kawasan falls. The food we had was really delicious (vegan options available) and cheap. During our short stay it was little bit cloudy but the view from the dinner place was still nice. Overall we had a really enjoyable time.

Excellent communication. Leading up to the trip, Lourdes responded to my messages within minutes. She also was very helpful in scheduling transportation from Cebu City to the AirBnB. The room was very clean, and it had air-conditioning and a warm private shower. These are two amenities that we did not find at other similar AirBnBs on Cebu Island or in Palawan. Although we never used it, the pool looked very clean and well maintained. The location is great for accessing the many different waterfalls via scooter. Our favorite thing about the AirBnb were the lounge chairs for viewing some absolutely incredible sunsets. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

This place was amazing! It was a great location with so many waterfalls that are not too far away. The workers were so kind and accommodating. They had great food at their onsite restaurant. If you are comfortable in a small hut that does provide WiFi and AC (extra cost) I would definitely recommend this place.

The stay at Lourdes' place was just great! The staff is incredibly helpful, they showed us around the local waterfalls and hidden gems of Cebu. Also, the food served in the place is second to none- I want to be back just for more great traditional dishes they make! Location of the Bamboo Resort is situated a bit south of Malabuyoc, meaning you've got a great spot to go to busier Moalboal or to Oslob. We extended our stay for a day because we liked the place so much! If you have a chance to go south of Cebu, please stay at Lourdes- you'll have a splendid stay!

I've stayed in maybe 20-30 AirBnbs and this one was the most "you're a member of the family" feeling. Super warm folks.. Was plied with more espresso and food that I could handle. They tried to tempt me to stay later on my checkout day with pork ribs, but alas I had to be on my way. Adorable kiddos as well, and a dog that will love you to pieces..

This is my second time staying here and it is as nice or better than my first visit. You have incredible host that help in every way they can and the room is very clean. The house is very secure very relaxing and quite. You are just a short walk to the ocean (a few minutes) with splendid views. It is it’s own tropical paradise in the Philippines and one you will truly enjoy.

Amazing place! Michel welcomed us to his home and fed us chicken tika masalla the moment we arrived in his place. He's a very amazing cook, and very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. His place is incredible. We loved it so much. Really clean room, located in a very quiet area and easy access to things Alcoy has to offer. His place has lots of greenery and he has plenty of flowers and they are so pretty to look at - especially the bougainvilleas near our door. They are so pretty - with all the flowers in there it is like you are in a fairy tale and I loved waking up and seeing the beautiful flowers every morning. He has an amazing pool too - really clean water. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere overall. One of the best places I've been to. Great host, incredible stay! If you like peace and quiet - this is the perfect place.

This was a little slice of Heaven in Paradise!! This far exceeded what I expected and it was truly a pleasure to stay here. We booked one night because we were just passsing through. But now we will come back on our way to Cebu early so that we can spend several days here. The apartment is located in it’s own little compound and it’s like walking into a fairytale and a place that you never want to leave. The apartment was clean, new, well appointed, stunning, with an amazing swimming pool. It was in such a fantastic location close to everything that the Alcoy area has to offer. The only thing better than the apartment were the home owners. They went out of there way to make you feel at home and great people to talk to. They were a wealth of information, and gave us so much information on things to do, from ocean activities, to trekking, to local markets and so much more and they should really write their own tour book. Just incredible people and ones you will become friends with for life!! If you are in the Alcoy area, don’t pass this hidden gem up. Amazing, the house is next to the main road, and is right by the sea. The sea view is great. You can go snorkeling directly. You often encounter turtles. The room is a large bed, plus a bunk bed. There is air conditioning and a fan. I don't feel very hot when I open it, there are refrigerators and gas stoves, and full kitchen utensils. In addition, there are shared barbecue grills. The rooms are very clean, you can take a hot bath, and the transportation is very convenient. It is 100 meters from the bus stop It's about 1.5 kilometers away from supermarkets and public markets. You can walk on foot. Finally, the landlord sister is very nice. Thank you so much for your help! Highly recommend her house

Stephens place is amazing! It’s right on the beach with a number of hammocks that you’re free to use, coffee is set out for you ever morning and Stephen coordinates the whale shark experience for you. He is quick to respond, easy to communicate with, the place is centrally located to historic buildings and food/drinks. We had an amazing experience staying here and would absolutely stay again! Highly recommended if you’re in Oslob!

Close to the bus station, the backyard is the sea, very convenient, adapt to your own equipment in advance to see the whale shark the next day, and it is also close to the barbecue night market at night. The environment is great. Back in the day and night, lying in a hammock is the pinnacle of life. As for watching the whale shark, the boss's price is reasonable. Starting at 5:30, the motorcycle will pick up and drop off. He doesn't care about it. The boss can get a great order. Sea urchin starfish or something. The child next door is also very cute. I let the girl teach me swimming temporarily, ha ha ha ha.

The best host what i have ever had! They support you with everything they have and more, provide you everything they can,... And so much more.. The best experience i have ever had. Especially the wife's owner was such an friendly, truthful and helpful person. I hardly recommend to stay there.

this is a small bamboo house on the beach, you can go kayaking, take a walk in a very beautiful Church,buy food at the local market. everything you need is very close. the hostess is a wonderful woman, she takes care of your comfort.

The view infront of the house was amazing. Need more amneties tho especially for the kitchen, utensils and refrigerator but for the room and view, it was all good.

I would definitely recommend this place! I asked for an early check in few hours before getting there and was immediately accepted. from the moment I walked in Fe make me feel like I was home she helped to find a guide and organize tours, she gave suggestions to what to do and when to do it everything worked great! The place was really clean and you could smell it from outside, the view was amazing any kind of shops and restaurant just next door best value and really good costumer service! Thomas and Karen are the perfect hosts! Their hospitality is amazing and the view from the terrace is stunning. I would really recommend going there and don’t forget to try the local Meals they make at the house! Delicious! If you have the chance, visit the local market in Dalaguete town. We went there to get some things for breakfast and I was amazed by the local produce they offer.

Seaview mansion is a perfect spot in Dalaguete Cebu if you want to get away with the hustle and bustle of the city. Peaceful, quite and the view is definitely stunning. This place is highly recommended.

This property is truly amazing. Luxurious, situated in a wonderful location with stunning views and only a 5 minute scooter ride to Dalaguete. If you want to see a beautiful sunrise, this is the place for it. The hosts were very friendly as well.

this place is great if you like quirky. if you have high expectations of amenities, then its probably not the place for you. however, what it lacks in style, it makes up for with the staff. I had an excellent time here, the staff is wonderful, very helpful and both funny and warm, it feels like a small family here, I'll be coming back

the location is nice, the price is cheap, staffs are accommodating, and foods in the restaurant are very good. but a jalousie window cannot close completely because of a power cable running through the window, so many ants and mosquitoes are coming from the window's gap. recommended for a short stay.

Lothar’s villa is way better than the picture. It’s clean, very well maintained, it’s like a haven. One thing to note, which wasn’t a deal breaker for me is the absence of air conditioning. There were times that it got a bit hot but the fan was sufficient. It’s a bit confusing to find as nobody seem to know where it is located, but once you find it, it’ less than 10 min walking distance to market. It’s down on a somewhat steep road . I literally didn’t do much tourist activity when we stayed. If you want a total laid back vacation with a very relaxing surroundings, this one is for you. The view of the ocean is spectacular. I would love to go back! Everything was perfect for us!

Thank you Lothar for the opportunity to vacation at your house. The photos don't do this property or house justice. Much better than I anticipated. Very quiet and peaceful with a private stairway access to the sea from the backyard. The snorkeling is amazing with a lot of marine life that is to numerous to mention. There is a marine sanctuary right beside the property which im sure adds to the quantity of species of fish there. All my pictures could be postcards...... Lothars vision of this property from the landscaping to house design is to be admired. Not to mention that Lothar is a great host and super friendly. Thanks again Lothar and hope to be back again soon to make some more unforgettable memories. Cheers

We stayed at Lothar’s place for a month and we wish we could’ve stayed longer! The place has an amazing backyard with a staircase into the water, of which we took advantage every day: we snorkeled and fished. The caretakers are super nice and helpful with anything we needed during our stay. we definitely recommend this place!

Our stay here so wonderful. We really enjoyed the direct access to the beach and the owners were very helpful and friendly. The dog was protective which made us feel very safe at home.

A great place for a relaxing family holiday. Clean air, beautiful warm sea, well-groomed territory. In the house, for a comfortable stay everything is there. We spent an unforgettable month in the Philippines. Staying in this house did not bother us at all, we felt at home.

Very comfortable to live in - it's like a home away from home, on an idyllic beachfront setting. We were a bit unfortunate to not have the cool sea breeze come most nights, but this was due to the time of the year that we stayed in the apartment at. Lothar and his family are very friendly and accommodating, along with his staff. The grounds are extremely well maintained and the small beach area is accessible to only the apartment The amenities are excellent - gas stove, fans x 2, separate ensuite for the main bedroom and while there isn't a washing machine on site, one of the housekeepers (manang we called her), was able to do our washing for a small charge. It's only a short 20 minute drive to the whale sharks, with a recommendation that you do this during the week, to prevent over crowding We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone and will most surely be applying for this apartment when we visit next!!!
