Bistro
“Little bit more expensive restaurant but really worth it!! The location is great. It is a very old renovated building with graffiti still on the walls. The dinner is high quality. Special recommendation is the '4-course chefs dinner' There is also a nice terrace overlooking the canal.”

Point of Interest
“Rent a little motorboat and explore the historical city of Alkmaar yourself from the water. Without a doubt my favorite sightseeing tour in Alkmaar! Beautiful old buildings, the Waegh, hidden backyards, lowbridges, windmills and the green "singel"will be the highlights of your trip! You can order an ice cream by ringing the bell at the Mient without getting out of your boat, or tie your boat up at the quay and have a drink at one of the many cafes. If you take 2-3 hours it will give you enough time to also go to the windmills at the polder just a stonethrow away from the centre. There are also places where you can rent a kayak. ”

“De Binnenkomer is my favorite little restaurant with a very good price quality. |t has nice vintage furniture and you can eat outside on the terrace when the weather allows. My recommendation is the '"STEAK BAVETTE' but they have very good vegetarian options as well. If you go for coffee you should try the 'DADELCAKE with butterscotch sauce”
