Park
“It is located in the neighborhood of Caballito and is famous for its fair of books, magazines and used discs, which works daily. Between its sculptures, is the Monument to the Mother, of Luis Perlotti and one dedicated to the Liberator Simon Bolivar. There is also an old Ferris wheel (the only original construction from the time the park belonged to the Lezica family) that functions as a fountain and a skating rink for children. On Sundays, a fair dedicated to the sale, purchase and exchange of items related to philately and numismatics also functions in one of the main entrances to the park.”

“this is a place just so typically Argentinian to me. It's not very sophisticated but I love to grab a book and go read there in the afternoon. The whole barrio, Almagro, is great for walking. You can follow the bicisendas (ways for bicycles) and just get lost, but don't go above Sarmiento by night just in case. All the rest is fine and really typical and beautiful. I hope I'll be able to move to this neighborhood one day, I like that it is so underground.”

Indie Theater
“Escuela de teatro y teatro under como pocos en el tradicional barrio de Boedo. Obras fantásticas de un director de teatro muy reconocido, Claudio Tolcachir. ”

Music Venue
“If you want to see Argentine tango played live, off the tourist path, you have to discover Fernandez Fierro. Part Pugliese, part Ramones, they has inspired an entirely new generation of Argentine musicians. Its typical tango orchestra coupled with an original attitude playing at the CAFF, an old auto mechanic workshop transformed into an art space, founded and managed by themselves in 2004.”

“The Great Mosquito is a free grilled grill located in Almagro. Diners have the option of choosing the free menu that includes great variety of cuts of meat, tasting of empanadas, provoleta, sweetbreads, black pudding, * chorizo * and several accompaniments. A good option to go hungry and with friends or family to have a good time in a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Leave room for dessert as the * volcano of chocolate * is a must.”
