“You can see Armleder Park from our second floor deck- just down the hill, but a tricky drive. Armleder has bike/hike trails that go to the Little Miami River, and connect with the Lunken bike trail. We like to sit and read (or wade) by the Little Miami, and we have also canoed from there. ”

Park
“Great for kids and families, alike with a splash park, hiking trails, play ground, Frisbee golf, and an indoor nature center. Good place for family gatherings and picnics. Stunning views of the Ohio River. Dog friendly. Concessions. Daily and yearly admission fee minimal and worth it. Fifteen minute drive - west on U.S. 52 (toward Cincinnati), right on Nine Mile Rd, left at the first stop sign onto Old U.S. 52 (Kellogg Rd). Approximately 3/4 mile on your right. ”

Park
“Great local dog park with large fenced area for big dogs and a separate small fenced area for small dogs. Also a trail that circles the park if you're looking for more exercise. On hot days I often take my dogs down to the Kayak launch spot and let them jump in the Little Miami River for a swim. Just be sure to have a towel, the exit can be a bit muddy!”
