“A must go to destination. Gorgeous neighbourhood bakery, has even been featured on Oprah. Started by local business woman Rosie Daykin. The treats and coffee are divine and so is the decor. Light lunch is also served. ”

“This is our favourite place for pizza. It's far away, so you'll need a car, but worth it. Try their funghi pizza, or their pizza with artichoke and olive with soppressata. Yummy!”

“A hidden little cafe where couples, hipsters, and silver haired neighbourhood ladies of Kerrisdale get their pot of tea and fresh pastries in a charming old-world cottage atmosphere. The "star scones" are to die for, bring some home to have for breakfast! ”

Bar
“The only "bar" in Kerrisdale, which is a pretty quiet neighbourhood at night. When the cafes and restaurants in our neighbourhood have closed by 9 or 10pm, you can walk 10-15 minutes up leafy residential side streets to Barra 41 for a glass of great BC wine or a local craft beer. Tiny and welcoming neighbourhood place. ”

Restaurant
“If you are not from Vancouver you should probably hit the iconic Whitespot family restaurant. What started as a drive in diner and burger place in the 1940's near Kerrisdale is now a sizeable chain throughout the province. They still serve up awesome breakfast, burgers and fries that are like the old days, and pretty much everything else that pleases all ages. If you have young kids, you can't miss - Whitespot is always a crowd pleaser! Walk up the Arbutus Greenway a few blocks and you are there!”

“One of the longest standing family owned tea house. Their high tea is decadent and thoughtfully presented. Do try their tiramisu as well! ”

Seafood Restaurant

“It's a local favourite! They sell seafood (pre-marinated too), a little bit of bread, a little bit of vegetables, a little bit of sauces, and also provide hot meals. For their meals, I especially come back often for their mussels and their fries are to die for!”
