“Amélie’s was born in 2007 from a collaboration of three certifiable foodies who love what the French brought to the world of French cooking. While we’re known for our salted caramel brownies and array of French macaron flavors, we also take pride in our soups like our Spinach Asparagus Leek soup, available year-round; sandwiches like our Croque Monsieur; seasonal salads; and our coffee, tea and specialty beverage offerings.”

“Top Chef Hugh Acheson’s midtown restaurant not only offers a long, covered patio for dining but a bocce ball court, too. Pair chef Adam Waller’s seasonal Southern menu with a glass of wine selected by sommelier Steven Grubbs or a cocktail from beverage director Kellie Thorn and just relax. Midtown”

Café
“You might drive right past this little café...but don't! It has wonderful Mexican breakfast (definitely get the spicy hot chocolate) and is in a cool space that includes a wonderful store with Mexican arts and crafts and another Mexican restaurant. It is very close to Hartford House (although you still need to drive) and opens relatively early at 8:00 am. ”
