A night out in the entertainment district is minutes walk away, access to the city is easy whether it be a quick short walk, bus at the door or even via one of the unique LIME ride share scooters that are readily available - you will find the location ideal for leisure, exploring or a business stay. As for the apartment, the bright and airy comfortable space provides all the comforts of a home away from home. A flat-screen TV in the lounge complete with free access to NETFLIX with another TV in the bedroom/s, a fully self-contained kitchen with a variety of essentials to make your stay comfortable - including a cooktop, microwave, cookware, tupperware and all the essentials. A desk for your laptop and a table and chairs on the balcony for meals is provided as well as a washer and dryer and all complimentary accompaniments to make your stay comfortable. This includes a small stocked pantry with everyday items, tea, coffee and other commonly used items- all free for your use. There is also a fridge and dishwashing facilities.
The bathroom is ideal to rest your tired muscles if you've been out and about exploring. 
The sizeable balcony with amazing views is ideal while you enjoy a refreshing drink to people watch or to enjoy the view. Reverse cycle air conditioning is available as well as a code operated safe for you to store your valuables/passport etc during your stay. Hi-speed unlimited wifi has been installed and complimentary access to NETFLIX is available on the main TV. Other things to note Security. Please be mindful of locking the door upon exiting and leaving the apartment. This also includes the balcony door. 
Smoking is allowed on the balcony only.
 As this apartment is privately owned and managed as an AIRBNB, the hotel reception staff DO NOT respond to any issue in relation to the apartment - please contact me directly if there are any concerns.
All other housekeeping matters will be detailed in the house manual provided to booked guests.

The place is located in Fortitude Valley, Queensland, Australia. Fortitude Valley is a contradiction in itself – raw, yet sophisticated. It is where elegance and style meet grungy and offbeat, and heritage-listed properties proudly stand among contemporary buildings. The Valley, as it is affectionately known, was Australia’s first dedicated entertainment district and continues to be a hive of activity. Live music thrives and international DJs are drawn to the clubs and chic bars. The impressive Chinatown Mall is a hub of exotic Chinese supermarkets and restaurants. The Emporium complex channels a European village feel, James St showcases Australian fashion labels and Brunswick St is home to multicultural dining options. More recently, the Howards Wharf redevelopment at the base of the New Farm cliffs under the story bridge has recently opened. Not only do they offer a free bus shuttle service in the immediate area, a short three minute walk up Martin street will also deliver you to the elevators that take you directly there. If you haven’t been to Brisbane before then this is a must stop destination. 
At your doorstep, you will find a bakery, a chemist, doctors and Woolworths Supermarket, Bottle Shop, Subway Sandwiches with a variety of restaurant options.
  • Great tv and Netflix available. Clean and attention to detail. Great spot in the city and George was very quick to respond to any needs. The bed was a little bouncy and you can feel the movement of the other person if you share it. I’m a little sensitive to that so some people might not notice or mind. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!

  • George's place it's fabulous. Literally I was breathtaking from the moment I got there. The lights, the details, the view. You'll be delighted in every step of your staying. The appartment is more spacious and better equipped that I tought just looking the photos. Everything that I need (and some things I didn't even think I need) was there without have to ask and without extra charges. The communication was easy and the place is very well located. Truly hope I can stay there again!

    My residence is great for persons needing accommodation while they search for their permanent apartment...8 minutes to city, 2 minutes to train stop and bus stop. Walking path to the city. Ferry to city and Southbank.
    Great residence to stay for family members needing accommodation whilst their relatives are in hospital at the Wesley Hospital which is opposite.

During what was quite a stressful time it was so good to come home to Holly's immaculately clean apartment, well situated and cleverly designed to take advantage of a private outdoor area and everything you could want indoors too. Holly responded very quickly to communications and was very helpful. There were laundry facilities and everything dries really quickly in the wonderful Queensland weather. Scott was very responsive and a warm and inviting host. We would definitely stay here again.

    Welcome to our Auchenflower home! We are only 10 minutes by bus from the beautiful Brisbane CBD and only about a 30 minute walk to city! Going to Southbank? You can catch the City Cat (a ferry) - about 15 minute walk to Milton ferry terminal, train is also only about 10 minute walk! Our house has only one bathroom upstairs & a shower in the laundry downstairs. It's a typical Queenland home, is over 100 years old and is a very comfortable family home. We have owned it for over 45 years. Your bedroom has one queen-sized bed. Share kitchen. Verandah out the front & a deck out the back for your morning cup of tea. We only have on street parking. There are lots of cafes/restaurants within a 10 minute walk. A small supermarket is within this range too if you prefer to do your own cooking. If you do cook, we would expect you to leave the kitchen clean & tidy. We are also within a 15 minute walk of Suncorp Stadium (for those who love football!?!) We expect our guests to treat us & our home with respect. Vic loves playing golf (the word tragic comes to mind) & would happily take you for a golf game if you have the time. My obsession is patchwork & quilting in all its forms - so if a shop crawl is something you could handle, I will sacrifice myself to make sure you see a number of shops in the Brisbane area. We enjoy chatting & having a drink on the front verandah in the evening - you are most welcome to us. Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
    Our neighbourhood is a family area - we have lived here for over 40 years and are now the oldest residents in the street - a dubious honour??? Although only one block from a main arterial road, it is a really quiet street. We have lovely neighbours and we know most of them. There are parks nearby - the river has a walk & bike path along side it.

    Enjoy a stay in one of the most convenient locations in Brisbane. Located just off Coronation Drive close to the bustling cafe street of Park Road in Milton. Whether travelling for business or leisure, this apartment is close to the offices along coronation drive, brisbane CBD, the Milton business park area, Wesley Hospital, with great restaurants, cafes and pubs within short distance. Metres from bus, citycat/ ferry and train stations, you'll find this neat and apartment convenient.
    The space is compact and smartly furnished, fully equipped for anything you might need on your short or long stay. It is decorated in calm and energising blue and makes the most of the large windows to allow light through the full apartment. The master bedroom has two large, tall wardrobes on either side of the bed with some decorative features. The second bedroom has ample storage with a large chest of drawers and oversize floor to ceiling wardrobe as well as two single beds that can slide together if needed. You'll find a desk and chair in the second bedroom as well. In the lounge room, although compact it maximises the space well. It has a five seater sofa in front of an LED TV screen. The Wifi and USB access in the apartment means you're able to login to your Netflix account if you have one or just relax watching the available channels. A four seater dining table allows you to entertain or read the newspaper in equal comfort. In the hallway, you'll find decorative and homely features along the open and modern shelving units. There's ample space to add your own homely touches, store your work files or put kids toys away. The kitchen comes with the cooking essentials like oil, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, sugar, salt, pepper, flour, coffee and tea. You'll also find some basic food items like a can of soup or a loaf of bread in the freezer - intended to get you by if you arrive out of hours and need something quick and easy before getting organised. Otherwise, it's fully equipped with oven, stove top, microwave, kettle, toaster, and a medium sized fridge. The bathroom is simple and clean, with a toilet, shower and vanity with hand basin. In the lounge, you'll find a linen cupboard with some spare towels, sheets and blankets. Downstairs, you'll find a private laundry for the apartment. It's fitted with a 7kg washing machine and 5kg dryer, so you can get big loads of washing done at once. An iron and ironing board as well as some cleaning equipment can be found here too. There's also communal clothes lines at the back of the building. It's designed for long and short stays equally.
    The apartment is located in a small 1970's block (total 6 apartments) just near to coronation drive, the business park and in an area of new high rise developments. It is a bustling area both day and night. Across the road is a brand new gym that allows both day and monthly access passes. There are many cafes within walking distance, including the renowned park road cafe district, and a coffee shop directly opposite the apartment. Within 200m is a Shell service station with Coles Express open 24 hours, so emergency supplies (whether it's nappies or a sausage roll or milk for the coffee) are on your doorstep.

  • A great location, only minutes to Park Road restaurants, to the ferry, to buses, to the train station, and if you enjoy walking, a lovely walk along the river to the city and South Bank. The apartment is older style, but very clean, super quiet inside and tastefully decorated with comfortable sofa and beds. At this time of the year, there was a lovely breeze through the unit. If you want to self-cater, Kate has basic supplies in the kitchen and everything you would need. There's a laundry downstairs. Access was simple by keysafe. It's great value for the price. Only thing to beware of is that the car space is a bit tricky!

It's a full-furnished apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 1 secured garage park space. It's fully secured with intercom. There is a large living room and an open balcony.
    A very good equipped kitchen with all kinds of Kitchen wares, such as refrigerator, bread toaster, coffee machine, boiling kettle, rice cooker, electrical oven, dishwasher, pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc. There's a washing machine, a clothes dryer and a bathtub in the special guest bathroom. Electric iron and table are available. It's close to CBD of Brisbane. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to South Brisbane Parklands and the Goodwill Bridge. Then across the Goodwill Bridge, you will arrive at QUT (Queensland University of Technology) and the entrance to the beautiful Botanic Garden. In 10 minutes you can ride a scooter to the St Lucia Campus of University of Queensland or the Kangaroo Point. The Mater Hospital is on the opposite side of the street. So I provide a big discount if you are a staff member or a visitor or related personnel of Mater Hospital. I’m a doctor in Mater Hospital so I’ll leave the apartment for yourself during the working daytime. I can provide an adapter for international travellers. Enjoy it, Please!

We had a flight very early the next day and he let us stay as long as we need before go to the airport which was really helpful. Sheng is really welcome and fast answer. Also thanks for the fast communication, made the arriving easy. He was really friendly. I think one thing should be worked on is the cleaniness of the kitchen, as a suggestion. Also providing towels for the quests would be a nice hospitality touch. This place is good value for the price, simple and really cheap. Connections to the City are easy. Also not far from Toowong Village - shopping center, with supermarket, library, Kmart, restaurants, etc etc. Really recommend for budget-travellers, who are looking for just a simple accomondation. There are two TV's, one located in the main room and one in the bedroom. The bed is queen size and comfy and the whole apartment is climate controlled with reverse cycle air-conditioning. Plenty of pillows and extra blankets are provided. Instant coffee, tea, and milk are provided and can be refreshed if required. Toowong shopping village is located nearby, so is the Regatta ferry port and hotel where excellent meals can be obtained. The Wesley hospital and Auchenflower train station are located only minutes away on Chasely Street. Suncorp Stadium and the Milton café and restaurant quarter are only a few minutes away by Uber. The apartment is cleaned professionally between guests. Additional cleaning can be arranged if needed.
    The building is on the corner of Coronation Drive and Chasely Street, next door to the Wesley Private Hospital and just down the hill from Auchenflower train station. We are only minutes by Uber from Suncorp Stadium, Toowong Shopping Village and the Milton cafe and restaurant quarter. A Jetts Health Club gym is located in the neighboring block (Milton branch).

  • General: A friend and I rented Charles place for around 10 days and Charles is a great host with good advices and a very quick reaction to any questions you could have. He gave us a good introduction to the flat, area and city when we arrived. Area: The apartment is directly located at Brisbane river and stores for daily living are in reachable walking distance. If you’re not using a car, you have bus stops in 1 Minute walking distance and train & ferry transport is available within 5 minutes walking distance. We commuted to UQ daily by ferry and needed just 15 minutes in total. To the city center it’s also 15 minutes by ferry. To the Gold Coast it is 1.25h by train. House: The „Chasely Apartment House“ offers a car garage and there is even a lobby offering snacks and drinks for a small buck. Of course, the lobby is for the hotel guests and not part of the AirBnB. The entry area of the house is a little bit shabby, but you’re not spending time there anyway and the elevator is working properly. Appartement: The flat consists of a large living area with a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, microwave, large fridge, rice cooker and everything you need for a long term stay to prepare proper food. One large double bet is also in the living area, together with a sofa plus TV and a dining table. The sleeping room has an even bigger bed, a smaller TV and a wardrobe as well as a desk. in the sparkling clean and large bathroom you’ll find also a washing machine and a dryer. Summary: This flat is a perfect match for up to 4 people who want a relaxed place with good connections and public transport in Brisbane. We enjoyed the well equipped flat and had a good time for a fair price. Don’t expect an instagrammable hipster place, this is a place for people who are on a city trip, business trip or want to stay in Brisbane for a longer time. It could also be suitable for families. We’re highly recommending the place and would always book it again, thank you Charles!

Charles greeted us upon check-in, gave us tips on local dining area as we haven't had lunch upon arrival. Room was clean and fully stocked. We stayed through NYE welcoming 2020. SmartTV available on living room and wall-hung TV on the bedroom. We watched Sydney fireworks from TV and Brisbane fireworks was visible through our window. Amazing!   • My wife and I stayed at Jeremy's AirBnB for over a month. It was the perfect way to settle into our new life in Brisbane. The apartment is spacious and stylish with everything one needs for a short or extended stay. The living area and bedroom looks out onto a lush garden with regular visits from kookaburras to wake us up in the morning. Great value for money. Jeremy is a wonderful host - very friendly, prompt, and understanding of particular needs as they arise. We unexpectedly cut short our stay because we found more permanent accommodation. This was always our plan as we were moving permanently to Brisbane, but it happened more quickly than we were expecting, partly because of the onset of covid-19. Communicating all this with Jeremy was easy - he was extraordinarily understanding of our change in plans, and made it all seamless for us, for which we remain very grateful. In the meantime, we enjoyed a lovely morning chatting with Jeremy over coffee about all sorts of things. But also, we were under no obligation to socialize; the accommodation and our use of it allowed us our independence and privacy as we chose. All in all, highly recommended. Thanks Jeremy!   • Shikin's place is wonderful! They are clearly experienced hosts. The room looks just like the pictures. There's no A/C but they keep doors open throughout the house all day and the air moving through really does make a difference. And when I was there it cooled down plenty at night. They offer stuff for breakfast which is always appreciated. The location is great. It's a nice quiet neighborhood, but close to lots of restaurants and easy to get into the city. I would happily stay here again!

  • David and Nicks fairy house is beautiful. The moment you climb down the stairs you feel like you’re in a wee little wonderland. It’s beautiful. The tiny door opens into an amazing space. Which is surrounded by windows which see out to Mt Coot-Tha and this space is amongst the tops of the trees. Like a little tree house. The decor is thoughtful, simple but elegant. All your bathroom needs are accounted for and coffee machine and main essentials in the kitchen. Macgregor Terrace is a very busy road but once you’re in the Fairy House it feels like it is miles away. Parking is across the road in a little avenue that is easy and seemed to always have a free spot. It was a pleasure to stay. I could hide away there for months.

    A beautiful private self contained space situated close to all Brisbane has to offer. Shops,restaurants, Roma street bus and train station, central train station are with in 10 min walking distance as is the city. Outstanding location with your own back yard
    The space is your own self comtained area with own access. The location is a 10 minute walk to the city beside Roma Street Parklands and a 20 minute pleasant walk to Suncorp Stadium if your planning to see a concert. We are very close to St Andrews Hospital as a landmark if looking on the map. If coming from the airport catch the air train and disembark at Central Station....walk up little Edward Street and turn left into Leichardt St or catch an uber taxi to Spring Hill around $29.00. However the best option is to pre-book the bus service from Con-x-ion and let the driver know you would like to be dropped off at Summit Apartments on Leichhardt St. The bus stop at the top of the street is where Con-x-ions will drop you off and pick you up to go back to the airport. Walk down the street to number 24 and your here! Cost is 18.00 each way per person which is convenient and less expensive than the train or taxi.     Spring Hil is a great little suburb, it overlooks Brisbane being on the top of a hill. The area has 4 great cafes for breakfast and lunch. Everything is very central and 7/11 / IGA is close by as are restaurants and cafés. There are two swimming pools located in Spring Hill and the area is very safe. There are a lot of international students that stay in this area as we are without the noise of the city and the feel of a funky suburb :) If you're headed to the city it is a 10 minute walk down the hill into town travelling through Roma Street Parkland or straight down the hill to King Georges Square which is a good landmark. If your visiting hospitals, either the Brisbane Private, St Andrews War Memorial or Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital they are all very close. We are also a 20 minute walk to Suncorp Stadium should you be attending a concert or the footy. My partner is a lawyer and Qld supporter and I live the Blues We hope we have given you a bit of an idea about the area and surrounds and hope you'll love Spring Hill as much as we do :)

  • Very nice apartment with a wonderful view. Good for short and long stays (we stayed for 7 weeks). Excellent location near Toowong shopping center and all kinds of public transport. Nice balcony. Hardly noisy with windows closed. We only used the (cold!) pool on the roof terrace a few times, but it is still nice and offers a great view on the city. The apartment was not very clean on arrival. A small problem was quickly addressed. All in all, very satisfied with our stay.

    Our house is located next to a conservation park and the bedroom has a big window and balcony facing the park. The room is on a separate floor from the main living area. It has air-condition, a small fridge and a microwave. We have 2 cats. Please note that the house has 2 floors and will require guests to go up and down the stairs to go in and out of the house.
    Our house is located in a nice, leafy and green area, and yet close to shops and public transport. A modern shopping mall is just 2km away
    Although close to highway and transportation, our house is hidden in an area surrounded by trees and vegetation. It was built on a sloped land, so getting up and down the driveway and stairs can be a challenge for some. But if you love nature and enjoy walking around then this is a great place for you to stay.
  • The room is quite big, comfortable and quiet. You can breathe the fresh air on the deck in the morning or sit on a sofa to relax in the afternoon. The room has everything you need. Sanjaya and Santi are very kind and treat you as a real friend. Their hospitality is great. I highly recommend staying here.

  • Amazing views, and sparkling personality! Celine’s place is spotlessly clean, comfortable, and has million dollar views over Brisbane. It’s right in town, near basically everything, but also just a few minutes walk from proper supermarkets etc at Petrie Terrace. But best of all is the warm hospitality of the host. Celine is so helpful and accommodating - everything was just so easy. I’ll definitely be back!

  • Celine’s place is a great spot to stay while in Brisbane. The location is great if you like to travel around on foot, everything is close by in the CBD. The bed is comfortable and the AC is lovely. The bathroom is big and clean, and the shower water pressure is excellent. Communicating with Celine was easy and she even shared some lovely brownies she made with us. Celine really made us feel at home. Great chic spot in the city center! I would just add, she has a vegan kitchen so just keep that in mind in case you tend to cook animal by-product when you travel.

Close to a number of good food shopping and cafes and so handy to the Wesley Hospital for anyone having treatment. So quiet at night and a great comfortable bed. *****

  • The Auchenflower resort style apartment was on the ground floor and it was perfect for our 3 week stay. We never heard any outside noise while in the apartment and could hear very few city noises while sitting on the patio. It is only one block from the Auchenflower train station and we never heard a train go by -- most people will not need a car because of the excellent train and CityCat service in Brisbane, but if you have a car, a nice size, secure garage stall is provided. Two CityCat stations are located about one kilometer (2/3 mile) from the apartment. It was a good size apartment (about 800 square feet or 74 square meters) and it had everything we needed. It was very clean. We enjoyed the large patio. The new fans and air conditioning units worked very well especially on the one day it was very hot (when it reached 40 degrees C/104 degrees F). The WiFi/Internet were excellent. The bathroom was a good size and we appreciated having body wash, shampoo, conditioner, towel, wash cloths and toilet paper provided. The same was true in the kitchen where the basic needs were provided such as dishes, cups, glasses, cookware, trash bags, dish soap, etc. The swimming pool and spa were kept very clean by the building manager (Steve was his name, I think) and he also offered to help us any time we needed assistance. Our 3 grandchildren really enjoyed swimming in that pool with us. There is a 4 star restaurant/grocery store next door that is very good and there is a very good Italian restaurant about two blocks away on Milton. Apartment manager Matt quickly responded to each message I sent both via AirBnB site before arrival and during our stay. We come to visit family in Toowong about once per year and I am hoping this apartment will be available again for our stay next year.
