Balinese Restaurant
“Made's Warung (not is is not my Warung ha ha) is the place I personally take foreign guests for dinner if they would like to try Balinese Food, and experience some Balinese Dance/Music at the same time. You will need to check on their website as the timetable for dancing sometimes changes, but I think the Bali Dance normally begins around 7:00 PM most nights of the week. You will need to take a car/taxi to get to Made's Warung. There will be taxi's driving past once you finish your meal you can easily flag down (remember to take Bluebird only).”

“As mentioned before, Sky Garden is the most well-known and largest club in Bali. With 8 pubs and clubs under 1 roof, SkyGarden Bali is your one stop shop for good food, beverage and entertainment. The club is not for everyone but if you are big on partying and seeing the real Kuta night life, this may be a great place to visit. They have world famous DJs playing weekly. Do expect an entrance fee and be cautious when visiting the club and Kuta at night, as there are a lot of strange characters around there during the night time. ”

Point of Interest
“The Tegallalang Rice Terraces in Ubud are famous for their beautiful scenes of rice paddies and their innovative irrigation system. Known as the subak, the traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system is said to have been passed down by a revered holy man named Rsi Markandeya in the 8th century. Tegallalang forms the 3 most splendid terraced landscapes in Ubud's shared region, with the others being in the villages of Pejeng and Campuhan. The Tegallalang rice terraces alone offer a scenic outlook that spreads down before you and away to the far side of the valley. The high roadside location is cool and breezy and it’s a well-known spot for tourists to stop and take photos. Painters and nature lovers also enjoy visiting this spot, and there are numerous art kiosks and cafés near the ledge. ”
