“A great spot for before or after a trip to Lake Willoughby! Seemingly in the middle of nowhere, surounded by fields and farmland, you can sit outside and enjoy your pizza and beer. ”

Museum
“As described in Seven Days, this VT bucket list attraction was founded by "Provocative German artist Peter Schumann [who] brought his radical troupe of political puppeteers to Vermont's Northeast Kingdom in 1974. The world-renowned group houses its massive collection of giant puppets, masks and paintings in a 150-year-old barn/museum that's open to visitors — just turn the lights on when you enter and off when you leave. Plan your trip for a summer Friday or Sunday, when you can enjoy a show in the Dirt Floor Theater with a slice of sourdough rye — underlining Bread and Puppet's belief that art is as basic to life as bread.”

Park
“The park rangers do a great job keeping the park well maintained, clean and safe. There are tree to shade you and grass to lay on if you want to catch some rays. The water is (as the name suggests) crystal clear and because the beach is gently shelved the water warms up to a pleasant temperature during the summer months. There are hot showers, toilets and a concession kiosk selling refreshments and hiring boats”
