They have nearly 40 structures including authentic 18th and 19th century buildings, moved from original locations throughout the region, representing trade shops and residences. “The Jean Bonnet Tavern, also known as Old Forks Inn and Bonnet's Tavern, is a restaurant located just outside Bedford, Pennsylvania. The building was erected by Robert Callender, a trader with the Native American tribes of Pennsylvania. The land and the building were purchased by Jean Bonnet in 1779 and opened as an inn, which was used as a gathering place by protesting local farmers during the 1794 Whiskey Rebellion, suppressed months later by forces under President George Washington. Enjoy fine dining in the lower level or friendly atmosphere in the upper level tavern. Great food!”

“This is my favorite restaurant. Often your meal will be made by the amazing, creative and fun owner, Mandi Horn. Horn O Plenty is a farm-to-table restaurant using locally sourced and organically grown meat, dairy and produce. The menu reflects the seasons of the local harvests. This "freshtaurant" serves lunch and dinner and a Sunday brunch. Their hand built, wood fired oven is at the heart of their restaurant. ”

Antique Shop
“This historic property was originally built in the 1890's and home to Simon Oppenheimers clothing store.Throughout the years it has seen many businesses come and go including the GC Murphy Company that occupied the property for more than 30 years. It went through a period of vacancy prior to Sharon Payne purchasing the building in 1992 to create her vision of a marketplace for local craftsmen and artisans to come together and sell their wares.”
